Snowdonia has received a certificate of excellence this year from Tripadvisor for the accommodation. Snowdonia Mountain Lodge has 21 bedrooms, with a selection of double, twin bedded, and family rooms. During this retreat, you will be staying at Snowdonia Mountain Lodge, Snowdonia, United Kingdom in a private or double room.

Aside from that, family rooms are also available with one king-size bed and a single bed. You will also get your own free car-parking space. Other facilities include free Wi-Fi, television lounge area where you can relax and read, and a peaceful outdoor seating area. Depending on the availability, some rooms will also have television.

The Sanskrit word mudra can be translated as “seal” or “signature.” Mudras are a vast science. The particular focus will be the use of mudras as energetic keys for awakening and creating awareness of core qualities within the koshas, prana vayus, chakras, and the five elements. Most importantly, mudras are an essential vehicle for health, healing, and awakening. Yoga can bring you into a state of wholeness, peace, and clarity. Mudras work on the electromagnetic field to ignite and regulate your life force. Together, yoga and mudra can powerfully balance the elements in your body leaving you feeling totally transformed as if you have stepped back into the “real” you.

Dru Yoga is a graceful and potent form of yoga, based on flowing movements, directed breathing and visualization. With its foundations set firmly in ancient yogic tradition, Dru works on body, mind, and spirit therefore improving strength and flexibility, creating core stability, building a heightened feeling of positivity, and deeply relaxing and rejuvenating your whole being.

Designed to be practiced by people of all abilities, all fitness levels and all age groups, Dru is a style of yoga that can be quickly dipped into or learnt in more depth over a lifetime. Dru Yoga classes are available in the UK, Ireland, The Netherlands, across Europe, Australia, and Canada. Short Dru Yoga retreats and yoga holidays in these countries are also very popular.

Dru Yoga has its roots in Hatha yoga and includes classical yoga postures (asanas), pranayama (breath work), mudras (gestures), positive affirmations, empowering visualizations, and powerful, flowing, dynamic sequences. Dry Yoga is known to keep your joints relaxed and soft during movement just like in Tai Chi. This creates flexibility and a free flow of subtle energy.

Aside from that, it is also known for Energy Block Release sequences (EBRs) which an easy-to-practice, flowing movements that help to release tension physically, mentally and emotionally. In Dru Yoga, all movements originate from the spine because a flexible, healthy spine will support your entire yoga practice. The spinal wave and spinal twist are core features of Dru, enhancing spinal health and vitality.

A deep understanding of core stability is a major focus. Dru Yoga works to balance the chakras which is the energy that centers of the body and access the powerful energy of the heart. Within the flow of movement, Dru Yoga creates powerful moments of stillness which is known as “Dru points.” Classes are tailored to an individual level and usually contain Energy Block Release sequences, graceful yoga sequences, pranayama, relaxation, and Dru meditation.

It can help you focus your mind, keep calm, and feel positive and uplifted. Plus, it does not need to take too long, even 10 minutes can make a huge difference. Dru Meditation is the perfect way to find mental clarity and emotional balance.

The following three techniques can be easily fitted into the start of a busy day. Meditation can often be seen as sitting still with your eyes closed. However, taking meditation into your life in the form of mindfulness is essential yourselves and your communities. Get started with these easy-to-do Dru Meditation techniques.

Rise and shine

When you wake up in the morning, completely relax your body for one minute, while you are still lying in bed. Think of five things you’re really grateful for today. Take time to absorb the feeling of gratitude and let it spread through your body and mind. When you're ready gently sit up and wrap your duvet around you.

Bring your attention to your breathing and let it get deeper without forcing it at all. Focus on your heart chakra and feel warmth spreading through your body as you breathe. Continue for five minutes, then stretch, ideally following a Dru Yoga sequence and start your day.

Relax body and mind

Dru Yoga is a powerful tool to help you relax. It systematically stretches and relaxes the muscles using graceful, flowing movements which bring calmness and increased energy. This relaxation is oftean taight at the end of a Dru Yoga class. Do some stretches then lie down on the floor on a firm yet comfortable surface preferably a soft carpet or blanket is fine. Cover yourself with a blanket so you don’t get chilly. Make sure that your body is aligned in a straight line.

Starting from your feet, tense, and relax each part of your body. Contract the muscles first in your feet, and then feel each of the toes relaxing as you soften the feet against the floor. Work up the body, through the legs, hips, abdomen, chest, back, neck, and head. Then, focus on your breathing, and each time you breathe out, let your body release tension. As you breathe in, take peace and calmness into the body. Repeat for 5 minutes.

To finish, gradually bring your awareness back to your body and feel how your body is positioned on the floor. Move your toes and fingers gently, then stretch, and sit up without disturbing that wonderful feeling of relaxation.

Stress busting technique

Relax for a few moments and focus on your breathing, watching the natural rhythm of each inhalation, and exhalation. Imagine a situation in your life that needs healing. Create an image of that situation in front of you, as if it were on a video screen. As you breathe in, draw some of the stress of the situation into your heart and immediately send it upwards and out of the top of your head as you breathe out.

Feel that above your head is a region of golden light in which you have full access to your healing potential. Imagine the stress entering this region and visualize the situation being completely healed. On an in-breath, draw this new situation into your heart and breathe it out into the scene in front of you, bringing peace and a good solution to that situation. See smiles of relief on the faces of everyone concerned. Repeat steps two to five until you feel relaxed, calm, and full of joy.
