Ubicado en las montañas de Aveyron, en Francia, La Combe de la Periere es un hermoso lugar ubicado a 680 metros de altura en el parque nacional Grands Causses. Esta es una región poco visitada, intacta y bien conservada. Sylvie y Jean-Yves nos recibirán en un confortable bed & breakfast rodeado por la naturaleza. Ellos ofrecen y preparan deliciosas comidas vegetarianas con ingredientes orgánicos en su mayoría. Además nos guiarán en tres rutas de senderismo para descubrir la diversidad y riqueza de esta región. Recomendado para yoguis con al menos 6 meses de práctica.

The rooms are shared and very comfortable. Single rooms are available for an additional 15 EUR per day.

Dancing Yogini France Yoga Retreat Program

This retreat is open to yoga practitioners with at least six months of regular practice and in good physical condition. It will also have bilingual classes and will be held in French and English.

The practice of Hatha yoga has the goal of aligning the body and spirit through physical exercises (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama), relaxation and meditation. We use the breath to guide us in the postures and increase the body's internal heat thus aiding in it's detoxification, all while exploring the balance between effort and relaxation. These classes are ideal for relaxation, strengthening of the body, and calming the mind.

This retreat is open to yoga practitioners with at least three months of regular practice and in good physical condition. It is not suitable for absolute beginners.

Please take note that the outings are real hikes and not nature walks. The trails can be wild, muddy, and require physical effort. A good pair of comfortable hiking boots are recommended.

Instructores

Antonée Lua
Antonée Lua, a native of Los Angeles, began her formal dance training at the age of three studying ballet with the renowned Olga Fricker for six years. Eventually she added tap, hip-hop, and freestyle as well as traditional African dance and a mix of dances of the African diaspora. It was love of movement that led Lua to her first yoga class in 1994, the euphoria that comes from an awesome asana (yoga postures), and meditation practice.

Destino del retiro

La Combe de la Periere is situated between Albi and Milau in the southern mountains of Aveyron, France. It is a beautiful site, perched at 680 meters altitude in the Grands Causses natural park. The region is less-travelled, intact, and well-preserved.

Arrival by airplane

Toulouse–Blagnac Airport (TLS)

Fly into Toulouse–Blagnac Airport (TLS) then take the train to Albi.

Please contact Dancing Yogini Yoga et Danse if you will be ariving from the Paris region, as car sharing may be organized.

Arrival by train

For those arriving by train to Albi, Dancing Yogini Yoga et Danse will organize an arrival time so that everyone can be collected from the train station at the same time. Transportation to the site is 15 EUR per person, 30 EUR round-trip. Otherwise, a taxi is advisable to the retreat - approximately 45 to 50 EUR.
