This sacred space retreat held on the beautiful Canary Island of Fuerteventura in a gorgeous minimalistic villa will offer you a deeply nourishing experience and the space and opportunity to breathe, heal, reflect, contemplate, or just simply relax the mind, body, and spirit. Enjoy solo time, group activities, amazing food, and experience an island life.
The villa offers an open communal layout where you can cook together, participate in discussions, and delve deep into your practice. If you need some alone time, the villa also offers resting nooks throughout the outside gardens, terraces, as well as an impressive pool to relax by. The villa you will be staying at has three serene double rooms with en-suite for either single occupancy or shared, and a simplistic dorm room with four single beds in the form of two bunk beds, with shared bathroom.
Please note that itinerary may vary slightly.
There are three island excursions organized, including a hike to visit volcanos and a catamaran adventure to Lobos Island to gain a greater appreciation of this magical place. Also, a fun day of organized water sport activities such as SUP, sea kayaking, snorkeling, and more in pristine waters.
A 10 minutes' transfer to some of the most gorgeous beaches the island has to offer, you'll get to sink your toes in the warm sands most days of your stay. September offers less crowds and the water temperatures are often warmer than the outside temperature. All transfers included.
With three thousand hours of sunshine a year, Fuerteventura is the closest Canary Island to the African coast with only 100 kilometers separating the 'Punta de la Entallada' from Cape Juby in Morroco and is the second largest after Tenerife of all the islands. There are lovely vegetarian and vegan restaurants popping up on the island and lovely small seaside towns to explore.
The villa where you will be staying is located in the town of Lajares on the pristine Canary Island of Fuerteventura which translates to "strong wind". The island offers comfortable weather all year round, and another worldly landscape with impressive volcanos, white sand beaches, and turquoise waters. Long stretches of sparse landscape offers up the canvas to clear the mind and spirit. -Nearby places

The first three days of this retreat will begin with a detox cleanse. While the term "detox" is quite a buzz word these days and conjures up images of green juices with a celery stalk garnish, you'll delve deeper into the true meaning of the word. Don't worry, they'll serve up the green juices too! On day four until eight, you'll begin understanding the importance of what you put into your bodies to nourish, heal, and strengthen from within.
You'll even get to put theory into practice by cooking some meals together to enjoy the fruits of your labor as a group. They can cater to vegan, vegetarian, or gluten free as well as other food intolerances. All group meals are included as are their welcome and farewell dinners. Complementary water, herbal teas, and an array of healthy fruits and vegetables will be available daily.
Corralejo, the island's main town, has a generous offering of 'seaside' style outlets where you can pick up holiday essentials, sun cream, and so on. If you're looking for something a little more unique, check out the side streets and the old town down by the marina for some quality local crafts and boutiques.
