By incorporating a few lifestyle changes and ancient yoga techniques into your daily life, you will learn to improve your overall health physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Asana and philosophy classes

Through our mediation classes, you will learn to calm the worries of your mind, decreasing stress and increasing overall satisfaction with life. By participating in our asana classes (yoga postures flow) class, you will begin to feel a renewed sense of energy, more positive emotions, and increased overall health. Our philosophy classes will address those deep questions that have been plaguing your mind and help you to find your way into the answers you have been looking for.

Yoga and cleanse

Our special yogic diet will allow you to cleanse the toxins from your body while getting the proper nutrition that your body needs. You will leave the program with a renewed sense of self and a clearer mind. You will learn the basics of yoga during your retreat, and it is our hope that you will continue your own personal practice and bring the teaching of yoga home with you into your everyday life.

  • Dr Sushil Yogi

    El doctor Sushil Yogi nació en Haridwar, al pie del Himalaya, en las orillas del Ganges. Es el fundador de esta organización y un instructor de yoga altamente calificado.     Gurukul Kangri University (Yoga)

    Yogi Devendra is a multi-style Yoga Teacher who has a great outlook towards his teachings. He is a trained hatha yoga teacher. He has done diploma and certificate courses in Yogic Sciences and now he has completed his Masters in Yogic Sciences as well. Apart from being a trained Hatha Yoga teacher, he is also well in Ashtanga-Vinyasa flow. His diversity of this multi-style teaching makes him unique. He has a long-term experience of training people and giving them the exact base in their practices. He is a person with a very cool behavior towards his work and a dynamic personality.

  • Dr. Rakesh

    Yogi Rakesh is an Anatomy & Philosophy Teacher. He has completed Diploma in Anatomy & Philosophy and Diploma in Ayurveda as well. ⇒ His skill of explaining his knowledge to students is extremely great.

From April through August, Chandra Yoga International courses are run in the beautiful location of McLeod Ganj, or upper Dharamsala, which is nestled into the foothills of the Dhauladhars, which rise to 4546 meters. A hill station from the days of the British Raj, it is now often referred to as "The Little Lhasa" and offers travelers a unique opportunity to experience vibrant Tibetan culture. McLeod Ganj is largely populated by Tibetans and it is surrounded by pine, Himalayan oak, rhododendron, and deodar forests, with a magnificent view of the Kangra Valley.

Today, streams of Tibetan refugees from Tibet and other parts of the world converge at McLeod Ganj to receive blessings and teachings from His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Western and Indian tourists, academics and spiritual seekers, come here in large numbers to see the rebirth of an ancient and profound civilization. The high altitude and cool weather contribute physically to this recreation of original Tibetan environment.

It is recommended to fly into Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in Delhi, and then to Gaggal Airport (DHM), also known as Kangra Airport or Dharamsala-Kangra Airport.

Traveling to and from the Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) to Dharamsala is your financial responsibility, however Chandra Yoga International are happy to book a taxi for you. If you'd like for them to do so, please forward your flight info to them and we they confirm with you that a driver will be sent to pick you up. Look for your name on a sign at the airport. If you prefer to travel another way, it is your responsibility to arrange and pay for the travel separately. The taxi fare from Gaggal Airport (DHM) to McLeod Ganj is 13-18 USD, and the ride takes about 40 minutes.
