You will be accommodated in a beautiful and spacious guesthouse on the mountains of the Sacred Valley. There are cozy shared bedrooms and shared bathrooms, a garden terrace overlooking the valley with a common kitchen and dining area. The house is nestled in the Sacred Valley, in the small town of Arin less than 1.5 hours from the city of Cusco, situated in between Calca and Urubamba.

There is an easy transport from the main road which can take you to markets and cafes in either direction. Arin Guesthouse has many spaces where you can practice yoga, and enjoy the stillness of the Valley. The property is surrounded by mountains, waterfalls and beautiful walking trails out the front door. And the resident dogs will keep you company.

You will deepen your conscious mind with daily meditation, awaken and soothe your body with daily yoga, hiking trips to special ruins, belly-pleasing vegan meals and cooking classes, and reinvigorate your soul with service activities with the local community and a special Despacho ceremony.

Included activities

The activity will include two vegan / plant-based cooking classes with Christy who has been teaching and sharing her love for cooking for over 12 years. Please ask any questions you have about healthy eating and transitioning to a plant-based diet.

You will enjoy a day trip to Cusco to explore the city and ancient ruins.

Christy Morgan known as the blissful and fit chef has worked in the natural foods industry since 2002. In the early part of her career, she was a chef for celebrities in Los Angeles and published a cookbook. Her mission is to show that a vegan diet can be delicious, easy, and will bring more energy and bliss into your life. Christy became obsessed with fitness post-30 and is now a NASM certified personal trainer and yoga teacher spreading the message that you can be strong and thrive on a plant-based diet. She has been practicing yoga since 1998 and loves showing proper alignment and strength to her students.
Kat Narvaez
(Therapeutic Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Anusara Yoga)
Yoga Alliance RYT 300 (Yoga, Power Yoga)
Born and raised outside of Philadelphia, Kat has been living abroad since 2009. She opened Yoga Room Cusco in April 2017, a yoga school in San Blas, Cusco in memory of her late father. Since then, the project has added a shop, natural apothecary, snack shack and recently the Yoga House Sacred Valley. Her classes are bold, dynamic and grounded in the ancient traditions of the practice.

During this retreat, you will meditate and practice yoga on the Sacred Valey in Cusco Region, Peru. The Sacred Valley has been a popular destination for years because of Machu Picchu, but there is so much beauty to explore beyond that.

¿Cómo llegar?

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport (CUZ).

Please arrive on October 12. You may take a taxi to Yoga House Cusco where everyone will meet for transportation to the guesthouse, which is 1.5 hours away. The only dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Please book your flight to arrive no later than 3 p.m. to receive transportation to the guesthouse.
