The villa itself offers spacious accommodation, for larger groups of friends. It benefits from a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, three bathrooms, five bedrooms, big lounge outside, and the swimming pool, which is heated and can be used all year round. In the centre of the village, you will find a mini market, whilst the sandy beaches are only ten minutes away by car.

You will be accommodated in shared double rooms, with shared or attached bathrooms. The venue has a swimming pool, gardens, chill out zones, terrace, and free Wi-Fi. BJW and Dr Bali Yoga Research Canadá provides bed linen. There is also a washing machine. There are surf spots and a surf school in the next village.

BJW and Dr Bali Yoga Research Canadá is not a hotel, it is a yoga school. That's why it is important to them that the students are mindful persons. See yourself as a part of the group and school. Keep quiet and calm in the house. Be a Karma yogi and keep the school always clean. Be on time for sessions. You should be willing to work with discipline.

In the first phase of the program, you will enjoy mouthwatering vegan meals, holistic massage, and stunning sunsets over the volcanoes, from Villaverde Fuerteventura, in Europe and explore the physical components that are so essential to the practice, both as a means of improving overall health, and as a methods of dealing with a variety of therapeutic needs.

Dr. Madan Bali will share his method and wisdom and teach you how to heal yourself and Priya, a specialist in transpersonal psychology, an intuitive teacher, educator, and yoga instructor, will teach you how you can awaken your inner power and intuition. Join this retreat in support of Big Jump World and Dr. Madan Bali, International Center and Yoga Research and Training Institute Canadá.

The International Dr. Madan Bali PhD Yoga Research and Training Institute Canadá Yoga Vedanta Centre, (now with BJW is a non-profit) organization which, for over 50 years, has been sharing the teachings of classical Hatha yoga and Vedanta (yogic philosophy) as a means of achieving physical, mental, and spiritual well being and self-realization for all.

Over a thousand teachers have been trained through Dr Bali and the organization. The organization is named after Dr Madan Bali Yoga Research and Training Institute Canadá, and Big Jump World association affiliation at Dr Bali Center who in his lifetime, was responsible for promoting the philosophy of yoga, Vedanta and his own méthod in India and Canadá. He was also was also named: "Yoga Legends Wisdom".

He is the author of the book: Yoga for Taming the Mind. His legacy was carried on by futures swamis and new students who brought the teachings to the new world in the West.

Dr Bali incorporates the Hatha yoga series in honor of Swami Vishnudevananda. Swami Vishnudevananda was sent to America by Swami Sivananda in 1957 from his ashram in Rishikesh, Himalayas, to take yoga to the West.

At age 96, Dr. Bali is a living example of health and happiness. He is offering this course using physiological, psychological, and philosophical components from a yoga perspective. You will learn directly from one of the living sources of yoga.

This course offers students a unique opportunity to draw on common aspects from diverse yoga traditions with the goal to develop a comprehensive yogic system of healing, wholeness, and optimal wellness. The goal of this training program is to produce qualified and inspiring yoga teachers. The curriculum is based on Dr Bali Method and the five points of yoga which can be understood through the practical application of the traditional four paths of yoga. The intensive daily schedule includes two meditation sessions, two yoga classes, two lectures, and one hour of service. One day a week is lecture-free.

Dr Bali Method is on building inner resilience, strength, and stamina, on prevention of psychosomatic disorders, on channelling emotional energy towards greater creativity, and on better time management and increased productivity.

You will also learn to access the field of all possibilities within to create, love, joy, happiness and abundance in everyday life, and awareness of your real nature, which is always sublime and blissful.

Hatha yoga (yoga postures)

A daily teaching practice class is devoted on how to teach asanas and pranayama. A daily asana practice class gives you the opportunity to practice your own asanas and will help to build the good habit of practice. The daily in-depth practice with individual corrections comprises:

Dr Bali School and BJW Center Villa, is located in the village of Villaverde, La Oliva. The retreat is only ten minutes drive from the beach (Cotillo and Corralejo) in the beautiful and typically Canarian village of Villaverde. With amazing volcanic scenery and incredible vistas of the ocean and Lanzarote Island, this is the perfect respite from the busy day to day.

With numerous volcanoes and serene, open spaces, Fuertevenura leaves you with unforgettable and calm feelings. Still, you can easily say that the islands biggest treasures lay next to the ocean – the countless, empty sand beaches.

Located just outside of the village of Villaverde, famous for its traditional windmills and fantastic views across the countryside, and towards the islands of Los Lobos and Lanzarote, Durga Yoga provides a quiet and perfect place to enjoy your TTC in Fuerteventura.

Fuerteventura has been able to avoid the mass tourism, which has plagued some of the other islands. It is a paradise for a relaxing holiday; a place where you can truly tune out of the modern day time and tune into waves, sun, wind, clouds, and stars.

The north part of the island is the best place for waves and Dr Bali School and BJW Center, Durga Yoga school, sits in the small town of Villaverde, ideally positioned on the crossroads to all the great beaches and surf spots.

In 2009, UNESCO described the entire island of Fuerteventura as a Biosphere Reserve, due to the important value of the ecosystems that inhabit it, both terrestrial and marine.

Montana de Tindaya is 10 minutes' drive and Iglesia de Nuestra Senora de la Candelaria can be reached with a 10-minute drive. Guests can get to Villaverde city center in 10 minutes walking.

With 3,000 hours of sunshine per year and an average temperature of 22ºC, Fuerteventura offers an ideal climate to enjoy the characteristic environment at any time of the year.

More than 150 kilometers of coastline offer beaches for everybody: Perfect for water sports, immense beaches of golden sand, and crystal waters such as the Dunes of Corralejo, black sand beaches accompanied by large cliffs, nudist beaches or just beaches for a pleasant walk.

During the TTC, you will be served lunches at 10 a.m. and dinners at 6 pm daily (like a typical Indian ashram schedule). The villa serves vegan food and is made with fresh and healthy ingredients of local origin. The menu consists of healthy vegetarian meals and a wide range of salads. Other options are also available, such as yogic diet, raw, or Ayurveda food (extra price).

Please note that products which are not allowed in the school are meat, fish, seafood, egg, garlic, onion, coffee, alcohol, and tobacco. Please also keep the kitchen and dining room always clean.

Please book your flights to arrive at Fuerteventura Airport (FTV) - distance: 20 kilometers. A free transfer from the airport is included, Dr. Madan Bali Yoga School will pick you up from the airport. You can request this in the next step.

Organize your flight and know the connections between the island of Fuerteventura and with the rest of Europe. You also can book your flights to Gran Canaria Airport (LPA) - distance: 80 kilometers. From there, you need to catch the flight to the Fuerteventura Airport (FTV).

Please note that the pick up will be arranged only if you provide the exact flight number and arrival time to the Fuerteventura Airport (FTV) prior to your arrival to Dr. Madan Bali Yoga School.
