Yoga and Detox Retreat England

The detox retreat will consist of light healthy detox, organic vegetarian food.There will be 2 daily yoga classes - one dynamic and one recuperative both incorporating pranayama and relaxation and time for creative writing, painting, walking, massage or simply resting The aim of the weekend is to leave you feeling purified, light, aligned,cleansed and fully charged.

The location is just a stone through away from the beach, and the house itself boasts sea views. You can choose between a private room with private bathroom, or a standard sharing double room with shared bathroom. Sea views, country walks, wild life are just a few of the features of your accommodation.

Thursday

Friday and Saturday

  • 07:30: Group meditation hot lemon drink served
  • 08:00: Yoga for detox and pranayama

  • 17:00: Transformative yoga and pranayama, and yoga Nidra
  • 19:00:Dinner
  • 20:00: Talk or group meditation

  • Tritha Sinha

    Tritha is known for her versatile voice with throbbing intensity and moving emotional commitment​. Through her knowledge of Indian classical music and its beneficial effects for meditation and sound healing, Tritha conducts music and voice workshops in different parts of the world. Tritha was featured in BBC and in the most popular music show TRACKS on TV channel Arte. French TV show of Canal Plus, Les Nouveau Explorateurs, featured Tritha as a young Indian classical musician making unique contemporary styles. Her album “PaGli” was released with Sony Music in June 2014.

The retreat will take place in Kent, United Kingdom.

During this retreat all meals are included in the price. They will consist of will consist of fruit and vegetable juices, whole fruits, and light healthy raw food salads. Participants will also be given the opportunity during this time to step inside the kitchen and learn how reproduce our new and inspiring detox recipes.

    "I have spent three wonderful days with the fantastic Emilyoga in the beautiful castle of Montgoger. The place is beautiful but the best thing in this retreat was the excellent Emilyoga. She is an awesome yoga teacher. We practiced a lot of yoga, it was even sometimes hard, but called "good effort" and that's the way to reach the state of "samadhi" and as Emily explained to us, success to stop the fluctuations of the mental. Emily directed us to do a lot of asanas, very intensive but really good, she explained the different goals of yoga, and introduced us to the great thinking of the sutras of Patanjali, and taught us breathing exercises to purify the body and mind. We also ate vegan and healthy food. I really recommend everyone who wants to take a break and have a great, intensive practice, and a wonderful time to book a retreat with Emilyoga!"

    "I had a wonderful experience at the Chateau de Montgoger yoga retreat with Emily Gilchrist. Initially I was a bit nervous about joining the retreat since I'm not as flexible as I used to be and have recently began to practice yoga after a very long break. Emily is such a beautiful sweet and loving person who makes everyone feel comfortable. Her goal is truly to make sure you get as much as possible out of the retreat and I did.With her years of experience, she masterfully eased my stiff body into shape using blocks, bolsters, blankets to ensure I could reap the benefits of the practice. As this was a yoga/detox week, we not only practiced the Asanas (postures) but the other limbs of yoga such as Pranayama (breathing) and the Ayurvedic diet. The food was so amazing! Not only was it beautifully prepared with love but it tasted so delicious. I never thought I could eat vegan for a week, but I did and have decided to switch to a healthier vegetarian diet.After a few days I was totally renewed and by the end of the week was feeling better emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Do yourself a favor and dont hesitate to sign up for the next retreat with Emily"

    "I loved the Emilyoga retreat! Emily is such a fantastic person and wonderful, mindful, inspiring yoga teacher. We had great two hours and 15 minutes classes twice a day, thoroughly worked out lots of asanas! I learned so much about yoga (we watched a documentary), new types of breathing, and meditations. My boyfriend was fully new to yoga, and he loved the retreat. Although I've been practicing yoga for a few years, I learned a lot as well. Emily managed to meet the needs of different people. The way she led the practice is so gentle, innerspring and also intensive (only if you are ready for it)!The venue was fantastic - beautiful chateau, fields, and grounds for walking, running, and cycling. Another ruined chateau on the grounds with 17th-century dungeons. We had a fire ceremony, fantastic delicious vegetarian food, and great people!Today is my first day back to work, but I started it with 15 minutes of meditation with candles and aroma sticks, then 30 minutes of yoga! Isn't it amazing? Thanks a lot to Emily, I really recommend others to go and try her retreat. I will definitely come back!"
