Join this yoga, detox, and art retreat with Emily Gilchrist and Emma Watkinson! This long weekend will consist of light, healthy, detoxifying and nourishing food and two daily yoga classes incorporating pranayama and relaxation. There will be daily workshops with Emma Watkinson in visionary art to let you un-leash your creative flow. The aim of the weekend is to leave you feeling purified, light, aligned, cleansed fully charged, inspired and in a creative flow with clear direction.

Accommodation

The location is just a stone through away from the beach, and the house itself boasts sea views. You can choose between a private room with private bathroom, or a standard sharing double room with shared bathroom. Sea views, country walks, wild life are just a few of the features of your accommodation.

Thursday

  • 16:00: Check-in
  • 16:30: Afternoon detox teas and healthy snacks served
  • 17:00 : Welcome circle
  • 17:30: Restorative Yoga and pranayama with observation to injuries
  • 19:00: Dinner
  • 20:00: Introduction to visionary art with Emma Watkinson. You will be invited to meditate on your inspiration, archetypes and intention together with a presentation on design and composition.

Friday and Saturday

  • 07:30: Group meditation. Hot lemon drink served
  • 08:00: Transformative yoga for detox and Pranayama
  • 10:30: Brunch consisting of fresh fruit juices, whole fruits, nuts, raw vegetables and salad
  • 12:30: Art with Emma Watkinson. Sketch plan. Create the underpainting in acrylic. Lecture on values lights and darks. Coaching on rendering 3D form and planes.
  • 14:30: Juice served and whole fruits
  • 17:30: Transformative yoga and yranayama and yoga Nidra
  • 19:00: Dinner

Friday and Saturday

  • 07:30: Group meditation. Hot lemon drink served
  • 08:00: Transformative yoga for detox and Pranayama
  • 10:30: Brunch consisting of fresh fruit juices, whole fruits, nuts, raw vegetables and salad
  • 12:30: Art with Emma Watkinson. Coaching on rendering 3Dform and planes . Lecture on colour, glazing, unifying colour scheme, start to paint top layers
  • 14:30: Juice served and whole fruits
  • 17:30: Transformative yoga and pranayama and Yoga Nidra
  • 19:00: Dinner

Sunday

  • 07:30: Group meditation hot lemon drink served
  • 08:00: Transformative Yoga for detox and Pranayama
  • 10:30: Brunch consisting of fresh fruit juices, whole fruits, nuts, raw vegetables and salad
  • 12:00: Art with Emma Watkinson : Painting top layers. Coaching assessing skills learned.
  • 14:00: Check-out

Instructors

Emily Gilchrist
Emily found yoga at a crucial turning point in her life back in 2001 while living in Mumbai, India. She had reached a point in her life where she felt disempowered with low self worth and little confidence in who she was and what her purpose in life was. She got on the mat for the first time and took private classes with Vaishaki Naik. She became aware of how much confidence, inner peace, and mental strength she has developed and was able to find the courage to change the course of her life. Emily's teaching is organic and fluid. She enjoys dynamic, strong, invigorating, and focused training.
Emma Watkinson
After leaving art college, Emma traveled the world extensively for many years exploring the spirituality of different cultures .Her inner spiritual adventures provide a deep well of inspiration.She has a background history in Druidry, spent time immersed in Buddhism & has a deep love of esoteric study & the Mystical Kabbalah. She seeks to crystallise her visions in her Art, meditating deeply on mythic archetypes, listening to spirit for guidance. She intends to create images that can act as keys in meditation, opening portals in the psyche to let in the healing light of the universe.

The retreat will take place in Kent, United Kingdom.

Food

During this retreat all meals are included in the price. They will consist of will consist of fruit and vegetable juices, whole fruits, and light healthy raw food salads. Participants will also be given the opportunity during this time to step inside the kitchen and learn how reproduce our new and inspiring detox recipes.
