Give yourself the gift of deep healing. What if there was a place and time for you to let go of busy-ness, to stop pretending to be whoever it is everyone else thinks you should be, and to simply arrive back at your truest most divine self, completely comfortable in your body, mind, and spirit? The restoration and healing are all yours sister. When you press pause to drop into that sacred space of stillness that lives always within you, when you allow silence to be the sound you tune into, and when you slow down enough that you begin to feed yourself with all the things that nourish rather than deplete you.
Podere Trafonti is a chic, eco-friendly domain nestled in the picturesque hills of Southern Tuscany where you can escape the everyday turmoil, together with your family, friends, or colleagues.
On top of the hill, “Max” reigns with its glorious view onto Montepulciano, the Monte Amiata and the surrounding hills, forests, and fields.
The cottage has two bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. The spacious kitchen-dining-living area has a panoramic glass front which opens up to a glorious view onto the Tuscan scenery. In front of “Max”, there is a splashing fountain and a lovely terrace with a table and seats for outdoor dining.
The pool pavilion “Mel” hosts two ample double (or twin) bedrooms, “Lido” and “Bosco”, and each with their ensuite bathrooms. The space “Mel” has a private terrace with table and chairs and is equipped with a bar and a fridge. Lido is a bright and cheerful room with a direct access to the pool. Bosco is a quiet double room with a big window looking onto the forest. Each room has its own ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The room “Tramonto” is adjacent to the library on the second floor of the main house. This part of the house is independently accessible from the outside. Tramonto is on the Western side of the main house, to the sunset. It has ample wardrobe space with a desk area. It shares a well appointed bathroom with walk in shower with one other single room. This is a comfortable, bright, and spacious bedroom.
What if abundant health was no longer an illusion but part of your day to day and that every morning you could wake up feeling revitalized and full of energy to start each new day?
It’s all possible when you arrive into the hallowed space of their Healing Seasons retreat. This is the moment when time stands still so that you can heal old wounds, and reconnect with your body’s and Mother Nature’s innate wisdom.
This is your sacred invitation to join them in the rolling hills of Tuscany, Italy from 29 October - 2 November, for an incredible journey that will reveal the magical healing properties of Ayurveda, yoga, and sound.
They know from years of experience and study of the ancient sciences of Ayurveda, yoga, and sound that when you are willing to slow down and turn inwards, within an intentionally created circle of women, magical transformation occurs for each of you, more than you could even imagine or dream of.
Their wish for all women, and most especially for you, is that you experience abundant health in all realms of body, mind, and spirit, that you feel healed and whole and that you know deeply your worth and how important your presence on this planet is. The world needs you and your magic sister!
At Podere Trafonti, you’ll experience sustainable hospitality and agriculture, in harmony with your natural environment, the territory, its inhabitants, and their culture. It’s the perfect place to make magic.
Are you prepared to embark on this deeply healing journey and rediscover your inner wisdom to light the pathway to abundant health? Each day, they’ll guide you through Ayurveda-inspired practices of yoga, asana, pranayama, and meditation, in flow with the season and all designed to serve your complete health and well-being.
You’ll experience potent sound healing journeys with the Tibetan gong and nourish yourself fully with deep rest, incredible locally sourced and prepared food, and a profound connection with Mother Nature and the sisterhood.
This is an all-levels retreat so everyone is welcome whether you are completely new to the practice of yoga or you’ve been on your mat for years. The yoga classes are inspired by Ayurveda and ebb and flow with the weather, the group energy, and the natural world.
There will be specific healing practices including sound healing with the Tibetan gong (safe for all) and the yoga always includes pranayama (breathing techniques), asana (postures), and meditation to enjoy the full spectrum of yoga.
Donna also teaches from a trauma informed place so you are assured that you are safe and secure and have plenty of choice in your practice to honor your own individual needs.
The retreat will ebb and flow with the rhythms of the group and Mother Nature but overall your days will look similar to the following:
Combining a life of yoga, mountains, and a humanitarian day job left Donna more and more convinced that yoga is the path to the deep connection you all seek both within yourself, with each other, and with the planet where people have the privilege to walk upon. Join one of Donna's retreats and you’ll find a place to be the truest version of yourself, with a big dose of humor, compassion, and first-class yoga. She completed 200 hours with Eoin Finn and the Blissology tribe with additional training with Bryan Kest, Janet Stone, Tiffany Cruikshank, and Katy Appleton.

The food at Podere Trafonti is exquisite, much of it from the organic farm on the property and locally sourced from the region. The retreat offering is vegetarian with some gluten free options.
A delicious brunch is served after the morning yoga practice, snacks offered throughout the day, and a sumptuous dinner served in the evening. You'll also have the chance to take part in a guided foraging session, collecting fresh food from the land to be part of what's on the table later on.
This retreat deliberately starts on Tuesday so that you have the chance to arrive in Italy and the region a little earlier and explore.
The retreat center, Podere Trafonti, has plenty to do including enjoying its beautiful surroundings, pool, walks and more.
