Be advised that this trip does include some moderate time travel as you walk through the Incan ruins of the Sacred Valley and embrace the colonial majesty of Cusco.
You want to see the world and you want your experience to be substantial. This journey with Elm City Wellness and Breathing Room Yoga is more than a sight-seeing trip. You’ll have the opportunity to detach from the stress of your everyday life and learn the tools and techniques to follow a happier, more fulfilling path in life as you immerse yourself in the mystical beauty of this sacred land.
This opportunity is offered in partnership with the Healing House in Cusco, Peru. The city is considered by many to be the energetic navel of the earth, and the energy of Cusco is definitely unique and intense; the Incas knew it, the locals know it, and many of the travelers passing through can feel it. Although many people come to Cusco as tourists on their way to Machu Picchu, they are drawn to stay. They can sense the energy, and something tells them that Cusco has a message for them.
Peru is waiting for you. It's time to go.
"Healing House is a socially active, creative center based in Cusco, Peru — gateway to Machu Picchu and capital city of the Incas.
We are a group made up of people from all over the world, who come together to heal, create and Inspire.
To heal means to make whole. At Healing House, we help people realize their wholeness through creativity. To us, creative healing means: Yoga, Reiki, and Meditation; it means art, movement, music and writing; it means gardening and cooking. It means inspiring people to embrace their talents and realize their potential."
Healing house also offers daily yoga to the community that you may attend free of charge.
