Kriya yoga belongs to meditation and was first described by Patanjali in his "Yoga Sutras" 400 BC. The practice is based on the breath, the cultivation of attention, and the seven chakras.
Even though it is a deep practice it can be learned by everyone, the practice itself is very rewarding and is not hard. On a daily routine, the meditation can last from 15-minute to as long as you wish.
Through the practice of Kriya yoga, the mind is gradually becoming more silent and stable and also Samadhi can be attained (Samadhi is the deepest form of meditation that frees the mind from its ego).
The secret of Kriya yoga is the subtle connection between breath and consciousness. The retreat is semi-silent to support the development of your meditation.
To bring the meditation into every action a daily life it is important to develop mindfulness (self-observation).
Kriya Hatha yoga is a form of Hatha yoga that is using the fundamentals of Kriya yoga. The main emphasis is on the breath, the seven chakras, and mindfulness.
In Nidra Yoga we enter deep relaxation by rotating our awareness through the body.
If you wish to develop devotion, singing mantras and devotional songs elevate the energies and open the heart.
