"The location was amazing and easy to reach by plane from Bangkok. People working for the Foundation there are doing great job with children and I was proud being part of it. They were so nice with us! Daily Yoga classes were great too and provided by benevolent professor. So I understood that they could be very different a month from another."

"I met beautiful people there coming from all over the world and we had tough works in the garden everyday. I enjoyed my trip and plan to come back to your website to book my next yoga travel this year!"

"This retreat even exceeded my expectations! It was excellent - location, program, people, purpose. Being in the middle of rainforests helped to disconnect from the daily life and connect more with the nature. A more authentic side of Thailand vs touristy locations. Twice a day we had yoga and both teachers were great - at teaching yoga and, beyond that, just as people who share similar interests & values. I liked that this was not a "hard core yoga" retreat in the sense that it was not just about yoga - program was diversified & stimulating including also trekking in the rainforests, climbing up a hill for yoga, temple visiting, cooking class, amazing Thai massage, and, last but not least, activities with children with special needs. At the same time we also had enough chill time in between. I loved participating at some activities and even giving an English class to kids from the school, which is supported by Thai Child Development Foundation - where all the proceeds went to from running this retreat. It was an important consideration for me when choosing the retreat that Eco-Logic runs it for a cause I feel close to and being there enabled me to see what difference exactly this Foundation can make for the local kids. I definitely recommend it and would love to go back!"

"It's my first time to join Yoga Retreat and Eco-Logic is definitely a right place to go! The yoga teacher Diana is very good and patient. She chooses good positions to adjust to all the levels in the class. It is so nice to practice yoga while you can smell the nature! I especially love the food here. It's all organic and healthy. People here are very nice and helpful. I make some good friends during my stay. The most importantly, the money goes to the foundation to help with the children in school. One thing just to mention here, the drinks here is a bit expensive as it's in a village and drinks are not that easy to get nearby which it makes sense. All in all, I will come again."

"TCDF Eco-Logic Yoga retreat place was superb! I really enjoyed every bit of my stay even though it was only for 4 days. The staff were really accommodating and the kids were lovely. We did yoga twice a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I managed to see the rocky river (fantastic!), went to the beach, and we all did yoga on top of a mountain where there is a Buddha shrine/temple. I'm lucky I got to experience it with a very diverse but friendly people including our yoga instructor (I made new friends!). I would definitely come back to this place and this time I'd love to work with the children with special needs. Come visit TCDF Eco-Logic Yoga! You'll most definitely have fun plus it's a great way to help raise their fund for charity."

"I had a fantastic time at Eco-logic! It was one of the most rewarding travel experiences I have had. They provide a very relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, all the delicious fresh food you can eat and a few activities to break the week up. I had no yoga experience going in but never felt uncomfortable and now really enjoy yoga. The people are great and the the massages included were awesome! It's affordable and you can see first hand the charity you're helping to support by attending. I highly recommend it to anyone :)"

I would recommend it to anyone wanting to escape the crowded parts of Thailand and experience an authentic side of Thailand. It is run by good people who give their time to this foundation to raise money for the education of the underprivileged and handicapped children of this rural area. Incredible food and comfortable accommodations in a beautiful area! Thank you to everyone at TCDF Eco-Logic!"

" I've had an incredible time at ecologic resort. Everybody I met was so warm and kind, it was easy feeling at home there right away. The yoga sessions in the morning with the sun rising and in the evening to get down were just amazing, special thanks to Laura! Garden work in between was a good thing with learning a lot about organic gardening and edible plants in Thailand. The food was delicious and varying every day. As they are going to have new mattresses in the dorm soon, I can even recommend sleeping there. So pack your yoga mat and your work gloves and help your soul and a child development project - well - develop :) "

" The Yoga Retreat is absolutely amazing. Everyone is doing such a great job. The yoga classes were really good. My friend and I stayed in the Riverside Room. This was a very nice experience! Overall, the sphere is very peaceful and quiet. One could easily relax and enjoy nature firsthand. There are enough activities as well you could go to Elephant Rock, go biking, have a massage, do a cooking class, etc. Again, this mini yoga vacation was great. "

"The Yoga retreat at Eco-Logic was amazing. The staff was super friendly and helpfull, the food really good and the room was exactly what you imangine for a bungalow in the jungle. Loved the outdoor bathroom! The yoga-retreat itself was the best of both worlds. Two great yoga classes a day, with the absolute highlight being the yoga session on top of a hill with the monestry below. Beside relaxing (and hard work!) with yoga the programme offered a cooking class, trip to the hot springs, massage, etc. The Thai language and culture lesson was very helpful. I used this information throughout my trip. The saturday I helped with the children in the school was one of the most memorable events of my trip. The location is a bit remote, so I didn't explore much on my own. But I think bike renting is possible. My stay was in September 2014."

"What a beautiful space in the lush rainforests of Paksong. I immediately felt something special upon arrival. The staff is absolutely lovely, and playful... every day was a treat to be around them. The food is literally farm-to-table... bountiful gardens line the property and I was blown away by the sustainability and forward thinking of the whole operation. I especially loved the indoor/outdoor shower in the riverside rooms and evenings spent connecting by the campfire. I would HIGHLY recommend visiting this resort... its simply one of those "feel good" places on earth."

"Eco-Logic is a hidden heaven in the Thai jungle, off the beaten track and away from the overrated touristic spots. If you're looking for an authentic Thai experience, you'll love Eco-Logic. There's not much distractions around, apart from the little village Paksong, so it's perfect to chill, do yoga and connect with nature. But you won't be bored if you need action. Many activities such as jungle hikes are organized and you can contribute to the local community by volunteering at the school, in the garden, as a yoga teacher or get involved in other conservation and development projects. I stayed there for 3 weeks teaching yoga and my head is full of beautiful memories. I was lucky to share these moments with wonderful people. This place would be nothing without them! "I stayed at EcoLogic as a 20 year old female at the end of two months of traveling. It was an absolutely amazing experience and we felt so lucky to have found ecologic! Ingrid (one of the owners) was a constant presence and made sure our stay was perfect. It's setting is perfect, in the middle of the jungle with a small river flowing through that you can swim in. We were upgraded from the dorms to gorgeous little bungalows without asking. The yoga teacher Gayle offered personal and fun yoga - the classes were some of the best I've done ever... Most reviews just mention the food and there's a reason for this (it's divine!). But most of all, the whole ethos of the place is about sustainability and the school that it's there to support. We were able to help with yoga lessons in the school for disabled children. We even got to teach English and play games with the kids so you really feel like you're not just a tourist, you are actually helping out as much as you want to. All in all I just felt so privileged to have found ecologic and would recommend it so highly as one of my favorite things I've ever done in Asia! "

"The food was so delicious and the staff so accommodating and kind. The founder Ingrid was very patient, compassionate and understanding about my crazy diet specifications (gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free, egg-free, peanut-free) and they were able to meet my needs. The projects are so inspiring and I'd love to come back again as a volunteer! I was here for a yoga teacher training. Don't expect to be too comfortable as you are living in the rain forest where everything is wet, but it was a magical escape from the modern world and I enjoyed my stay thoroughly."

"Overall, this place is peaceful and the work they do with children is amazing. If you want to volunteer, then this is a great place. However, I came when the school children were on holiday because I really just wanted to have a few days to relax, eat well, and do yoga. If you are looking for a place to focus on wellness specifically, this isn't the place. The food is great, but is heavy on soy products and peanuts (which are pretty common allergens and thus not so great to consume at every meal). And the yoga teacher had quit, so I missed a few sessions and a few were taught by a guest who happened to have been certified but hadn't taught in at least 4 months. I'm all for their charitable mission, but that is not the reason I came, and thus would not stay again for the purpose of a yoga/wellness retreat. Go somewhere else."

"Lovely surroundings (you stay in the middle of nature just next to a small river), staff (everyone was so smiley and so welcoming!), children (it was fantastic to see the school and the happy kids and teachers), food (the buffet, which was vegetarian, was sooo GREAT every single day!) and yoga twice a day (really good!). Everything was absolutely beautiful and I will miss this place, that donates to charity and has an amazing vibe. And many (most?) of the ingredients in the food are actually from the garden, and everything is homemade.Booked a mini yoga retreat (3 days) but ended up staying here for a week. Thank you Ingrid, Yaa, Lan (sorry for the spelling) and everyone else! I'm so grateful for this experience."

"I had a great time at Eco-Logic Yoga Retreat. Location and site: You can get there easily by bus from Ranong. Just follow the information you get after the booking. Eco-Logic is located next to the small village PakSong. It is located more or less in the jungle, beautiful nature all around, very peaceful. The whole place was build up really nicely with lots of love. Accommodation: I stayed in a nice dorm, everything was very clean. At night you can hear the sound of the jungle. Rooms and bungalows are really nice. Food: Excellent buffet three times per day. Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans. Staff: Really nice! Always helping and really friendly! Yoga: Renata was a wonderful teacher. Her classes were perfect. I have already taken some classes before and I really liked her style. Her meditation sessions were also really nice. Although there were students from all different levels, she managed to make everybody happy. Activities: You can either just hang around there or hike to the waterfalls, go to hot springs, do Yoga on an mountain and watch a magnificent sunset there. Charity: All the money you spend goes to different charity projects. You can check out the school for special needs kids."

" TCDF Eco-Logic is a remarkable place. The setting and the accommodations are beautiful and the entire staff is dedicated to personalizing your experience. Best of all, the profits from the resort go to support the Thai Child Development Foundation. This organization supports the education and medical care of special needs in the area. You can stay here as a volunteer, be active in nature, or just allow yourself to be pampered in this stunning environment. Tourism has had a big impact in Thailand and it is refreshing to see an organization using the profits from tourism to support a bigger cause. "

" TCDF Eco-Logic is an amazing project and accommodation in the middle of the rainforest in a non-tourist part of Thailand. Visitors have a variety of options in regards to accommodations and outdoor activities. Volunteers have numerous opportunities to participate in projects related to gardening, construction, sustainability practices, education, and community building. Living on the property provides an authentic experience of rural Thai culture; the foundation staff makes you feel welcomed and a part of a family. The natural setting is definitely one that nature lovers will appreciate: the area is surrounded by various fruit trees, towering palms, a river that fills in the rainy season, and flora and fauna that are unique to a subtropical climate. If you are a volunteer looking for an incredibly rewarding experience or simply looking for a place to relax and recharge, TCDF Eco-Logic has something to offer."

" I visited Runs 'N Roses twice. Once as a volunteer and once a guest. It's quite a long time ago but I would go back tomorrow if I could. Ingrid, Rose and the children are wonderful and made me feel welcome. When I was there the first time I helped with the stables and the horses. But that was not the only thing. There was time for rafting, an exciting jungle trip (with a guide who understood I don't really like spiders ;-) and of course enough time to enjoy the most fantastic meals!. The second time I was a guest and spend more time relaxing and made some great trips in the area. I even visited Burma together with Ingrid. The people at Eco Logic know how to help you have a great time."

"Ive had a private Reiki session with Geetha. She organized a room at the guesthouse and while I listened to the water of the river nearby she 'Reiki'd' me. After having a nasty flu the previous week I felt a bit low on energy and I hoped that the session could help me feel a bit more energetic. After the session - which took 1.5 hour but it felt like 5 minutes - I was very relaxed and I felt good. Normally I need a little nap in the afternoon, but today I did not. Rejuvenated! Thanks Geetha, it was a very positive experience and I will surely have more sessions with you in the future."
