Yoga and meditation classes will be held daily to prepare your bodies and minds to find the calm in the chaos of the sensory-overload that is Morocco and then these art projects will help you find news ways of seeing - both yoga and art working together to find focus in the many layers of smells, sites, and sounds that abound in exotic Marrakesh.

Guests will not only enjoy the grounds of Peacock Pavilions, the outdoor areas including a lovely pool, patio, private terraces, and covered yoga platform, but the retreat also includes some amazing day-trips to the surrounding sites. A guided shopping day in Marrakesh will lead guests through an introduction to souks.

A full day will be spent exploring the nearby Atlas Mountains with a base at the Kasbah Tamadot Hotel with a traditional mule trek to the nearby village of Asni followed by time at the beautiful grounds of this five-star location overlooking the vistas with a cooking demo and tasting menu dinner. An afternoon will be spent at the luxurious La Mamounia Hotel in Marrakesh enjoying the pools and an afternoon tea.

One day, you will visit Yves St. Laurent's famous Jardin Majorelle and berber museum. The final full day entails a trip to the famous Bains de Marrakesh, a luxurious spa facility, where guests can be pampered to their heart's content with a full program of various treatments. What better way to wrap up a week of yoga than a day of pure relaxation.

"Thanks for another incredible adventure! Croatia is beautiful, and I really feel I got to see the best-of-it, with the itinerary you created!...I especially enjoyed the yoga and meditation. I feel more encouraged than I have previously to incorporate both into my day-to-day life, especially the meditation! Thanks again, and see you soon!"

"This was my first Yoga retreat (I attended with my girlfriend) and it was terrific. Erin has created a great concept and runs a great business. She said she loves to travel and she loves yoga and she has merged these passions into a very unique experience. The yoga was technically pure and diverse without the rigid atmosphere you might expect. The day trips were a mix of city, village, and nature environments. The accommodations and itinerary allowed us to make new friends. In fact, many of our new friends told us that this is the way they travel because of what Erin has put together. You eat well, have sessions of yoga, see parts of the world you will never see againall in one week!"

"What a treat it was to experience France for the first time with EAT.PRAY.MOVE. Erin was a wonderful host who led thoughtful, challenging, and accessible classes in addition to daily excursions that provided a view of the Provenal region from many different angles. The accommodations and landscapes were breathtaking and I couldnt ask for a better group to share the week with. I returned with new friends, a renewed love of yoga, and inspired to travel more. Thank you Erin and EAT.PRAY.MOVE for a memorable experience!"

  • Review by Bonnie from Pennsylvania, USA

"I have always had a love of travel and a spirit of adventure, but as an almost 69-year old single woman, I believed my opportunities were limited and tame. Then EAT.PRAY.MOVE came into my life and boy am I hooked! I signed up for the September trip to Marrakech and it was one of the finest travel experiences of my life. The accommodations were beautiful, the service. Wonderful, the feeling of family and good friends surrounded us. Instead of being in a hotel, with the usual hotel culture, I was able to experience a true Moroccan lifestyle, including delicious food served on a delightful porch near the beautiful pool during the day and in a picturesque tent in the evening. The activities were fabulous: walking around in the walled old city with shopping galore, going on a day trip to a beach town, including riding a camel, (I fantasized being Lawrence of Arabia) and dining in exceptional Marrakech restaurants. We received henna treatments and spent an afternoon at a spa. Of course, there was yoga and meditation every day, too. It was a wonderful, exciting and affordable trip. I cant wait to see next years schedule!"

Erin really took the time to help me improve and excel each day of the retreat. This will not me my last EAT.PRAY.MOVE trip...cant wait to see what she is planning for next year!!!"

  • Review by Rene Castro from California, USA

"My wife and I have participated on four EPM retreats. Each time we have been completely captivated by the experience. The locations are absolutely spectacular. The food and wine is local, healthy, fresh and delicious. The daily trips are personal, structured (but not overly so), enthralling, adventurous and chic. This is not your uncles travel guide tour. Erin offers an intimate and deeply restorative experience. It is invitation to form lifetime friendships with people who are curious, joyful and fun. Many times we feel like we are not only getting a sense for a place but being invited to peer behind the veil and see what is invisible to many travelers, all informed by Erins appreciative eye for beauty, story and style. Finally the yoga is inclusive and healing. I love the music, the settings, the flow and Erins ability to meet you where you are at in your practice.Eat, Pray, Move is our first choice for international travel, personal restoration and inspiration. We highly recommend the experience!"

Along with two of my members, we joined Erin in Provence and took advantage of this fabulous retreat! Erin was great to find a perfect balance of yoga, adventure and a spa day that was wonderful. I would definitely join Erin again at another retreat in the near future. I loved her yoga practice and her well organized daily excursion trips. Our accommodations, in a beautiful villa, were fabulous!"

"The Tuscany retreat was that good that I signed up for the next one! It delivered beyond my expectations. I was showered with warmth at Julian and Amanda's stunning villa where the views are to die for! The day excursions and yoga were well balanced and afforded time for quite relaxation. My energy levels were always at a high thanks to the daily serving of fresh and wholesome Italian cuisine. Erin created a class atmosphere which was focused yet fun. As a Yoga teacher myself I found Erins years experience hugely beneficial, her wealth of knowledge tailored both to myself and Yoga newbies. She is extremely travel savvy and had plenty of recommendations about the must-sees and dos of Italy. This is handy if, like myself, you want to extend your trip. I have been to many yoga retreats but this one stands out as the best. It's contemporary, cost effective but luxurious. Another bonus of the retreat was meeting a variety of personalities. I still stay in contact with some members of our group and we plan to meet at the next retreat.(Ischia) If you desire a getaway which explores culture and personal wellbeing then Eat Pray Move is for you! Thanks Erin, can't wait for the next adventure."

"The Tuscany retreat was an amazing experience! I love yoga and love to travel so this was the perfect combination and a great balance of both. The yoga classes were very accessible for all levels and Erin tailored the classes to meet everyones level. The accommodations were very welcoming and comfortable, it almost felt surreal to be staying in a beautiful Tuscan villa overlooking the rolling hills of Tuscany and Umbria. The food was amazing and didnt leave you hungry just wanting more because it was so delicious! This was my first time in Italy so I really loved the day excursions and getting to explore Florence and other nearby hilltop towns. The small group setting was perfect and allowed people to get to know one another and forge new friendships. I would recommend an Eat.Pray.Move Yoga Retreat to anyone. It exceeded my expectations!
