Ayurveda is the Vedic science of life. 'Ayur' means life and 'Veda' means science, and based on this Ayurveda treatments use the healing power of nature to help you live a healthy life. In modern times, Ayurveda competes with the most advanced medical sciences in offering effective natural remedies for various ailments. These remedies are free of the otherwise common side-effects of Western medicine and take into account the holistic approach to life. Ayurveda is fast becoming a world pioneer for holistic treatments as a solution to the stress and strain that you accumulate in your daily modern lives.
The whole village is the mastermind of their founder Anand. He is the architect, interior designer, and project manager of the village. The whole village is made out of natural materials as much as possible. It is vintage yet modern with a minimalistic approach. It is humble yet beautiful and comfortable and provides everything you need for your stay.
Earth Yoga Village's set-up includes accommodations for up to 50 people, a health kitchen, 2 yoga shalas, a silent healing space, and a small library which Earth Yoga Village is slowly growing based on the founder's readings so far. They are also open to donations or your recommendations of other life-changing or inspiring books. There are dining areas, chill-out areas, hammocks and lots of love, smiles and peace every day all day.
Earth Yoga Village is trying its best to make the village more eco-friendly. The whole village is very green and surrounded by many native trees and plants. On top of that, Anand got very inspired to grow some herbs, fruits, and vegetables locally. In the year 2024, they have taken the extra step to create a flower garden, herb garden, vegetable garden and fruit garden with around 400-500 plantations in total. It's an ongoing project to be finished by end of this monsoon. They hope that their inspiration becomes a reality.
The connection with nature is vital, and they strive towards that connection in every day life and with every action. They welcome you to join the movement by bringing your own refillable bottle, keeping plastic to a necessary minimum, and being mindful of the resources you use from Mother Nature. Please bear in mind that you'll live in close proximity to the surrounding nature which means you might come across the odd visitor like frogs, insects, and monkeys :) - they are all very friendly!
Earth Yoga Village is your home away from home. As the name gives it away you stay connected with Mother Earth in every thought and action. This is also reflected in the experience provided when you stay with them; they offer time and the ideal setting to connect with yourself and nature.
Earth Yoga Village has two stunning open yoga shalas made of mostly organic and natural materials that will offer a blissful practice in a gentle breeze. In addition to the beautiful shala space, you can also practice in different settings such as the beach to further connect with nature. Mats, cushions, bolsters, blocks, belts, and all the needed props are provided as well as mat spray to clean the mats and keep the space hygienic.
They have a beautiful silent corner under the ancient mango tree for a peaceful time with the self. A lovely communal dining area, another chill-out area down by the shala, and a few hammocks spread around are for you to find your own space as per the need.
The village offers a homey and comfortable stay in a blissful setting. The Earth Yoga Village team has kept the village as natural as possible to make you feel connected, always keeping your comfort in mind. The rooms are designed very modern with a vintage feel and minimalistic approach. Most of the material used are as natural as possible.
They have 4-bed / 2-bed / private single / double huts. All huts come with an open-air bathroom for your moonlight shower whilst gazing at the stars!
All huts also come with your daily essentials such as towels, toilet paper, mosquito net, bed linen, bed cover, pillows, blanket, and a fan. Cleaning and change of linen are done once a week.
The basic principles of Ayurveda deal with the natural way of living a healthy life. Every living being is a unique combination of the five elements – earth, water, fire, air, and space, making up the three vital forces of life – “Vata” representing ether and air, “Pita” combining fire and water, and “Kapha” meaning water and earth. The perfect balance of these vital forces results in true health - the balance of mind, body, and soul.
During this special Ayurveda retreat, you will be learning the basic principles of Ayurvedic and its concepts, as well as applications in daily life to enhance your health and overall wellbeing. It enables and empowers you.
The program is a unique opportunity to learn and rejuvenate physically and mentally in a pure, spiritual, yogic environment. One should approach the program with the idea to retreat from normal life and use the time to connect to body, mind, and soul. During your stay in the village, you will also benefit from the 5 points of yoga (proper exercise / breathing / relaxation / diet / positive thinking).
The above is the suggested schedule. It may change due to local requirements.

Set in the cooling shades of lush greenery and connected with a 5-7 minute walk to South Goa's most beautiful beaches of Patnem and Palolem. You will find Earth Yoga Village to be extremely peaceful and the ideal place to relax. It is conveniently located in South Goa by the road in the area of Colomb in between the two beaches of Palolem and Patnem, which are known for their blissful vibes, laid-back people, and beautiful nature. These beaches are largely unspoiled and are inhabited by both local fishermen and by foreign tourists who live in shacks along the shore or in the main village itself. Palolem's white sandy beach gently curves round to form a crescent shape and is about one mile (approximately 1.61 km) long; one can view the entire beach from either end. Both ends of the beach consist of rocks jutting out into the sea. Patnem is a little smaller than Palolem but it's a very calm, peaceful, yogic beach with its magical charm.
The location offers an ideal place to explore the stunning beaches, beautiful local villages, and surrounding nature outside of your retreat schedule. And with the gentle ocean breeze to refresh you, you will never want to leave.

At Earth Yoga Village, they understand the incredible benefits of nutritious food, as Hippocrates rightly said, and considers food to be a powerful healing tool. Earth Yoga Village's founder Anand Garg believes as much in this that he himself has cured some of his own persistent ailments with food. Most of the meals you'll see on the menu are his own creations and he personally trained the kitchen staff. In his free time, you may still find him spending time in the kitchen.
All of the food is vegan and gluten / additives / preservations / emulsifier free. Earth Yoga Village's kitchen team uses only fresh, seasonal herbs and vegetables from regional farmers. The daily menu of wonderfully nourishing vegan food supports self-healing of the body, enhances detoxification, and leaves you feeling strong and rejuvenated.
The program offers three healthy and wholesome meals per day (Indian, Oriental, and Continental) along with tea, fruit, and filtered drinking water throughout the day.
Everything is made with a lot of love and sourced locally. Breakfast and dinner are the big meals whereas lunch is lighter.
You start your day with detox tea made out of seven different herbs and spices and throughout the day there will be some other tea at the tea table.
Saturdays are the community day off (no food is served) in the village and are a great opportunity to explore the many other restaurants, shops, and beaches in and around South Goa.
