Earth Yoga Village's beautiful and comfortable community holds space for up to 55 guests, an on-site kitchen where all the delicious meals are prepared with love, two yoga shalas, two healing and rejuvenation spaces, a small library and a chill-out area.

The jungle beach huts available at the village are beautifully inspired by Rajasthani designs and come with an open-air bathroom. There are bed linen, pillows, towels (not for beach use), mosquito nets, and blankets (if you need them) provided.

Overview

Hatha is the mother of all asana practices and with that the most important and fundamental philosophy. Hatha is a general category that may include most yoga styles known in the West. It is an ancient system that includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (yoga breathing exercises) which help to bring peace to the mind and body. Vinyasa means movement with breath, it is more in motion dynamically with incorporating basic vinyasa principals.

Being a qualified Hatha Vinyasa yoga teacher means you have a very broad skill set that allows you to teach many different Vinyasa, Hatha, and Restorative yoga classes. Your classes will be creative and varied, always aiming to bring peace of mind to your students.

This teacher training is a unique, profoundly transforming and personal experience that is based on the ancient Gurukula Teaching System which integrates the student's daily life into the yoga training. For twenty-seven intense days of community living, students strengthen their own yoga practice through self-discipline and awareness of the nature of mind, body, and spirit. They also build a firm foundation from which they are able to teach others confidently.

This teacher training provides a fantastic opportunity to awaken or deepen your yoga practice, meet old and new friends and be a part of the global yoga community which is growing each day. The best part of all is learning that everything we need is already within us and how the practice can lead us into accessing our gifts and beauty from the inside out. Certification

Successful graduates of the course receive an internationally recognized certification, which has the eligibility to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

This course will take place in Goa, India. Set among lush green jungle within a 30 meters walk to a paradise beach, you will find the village to be extremely peaceful and an ideal place to relax. It is your refuge from a busy life and is conveniently located in South Goa on the beautiful beach of Palolem which is known for its blissful vibes, laid back people, and stunning nature.

Palolem Beach is largely unspoiled and is inhabited by both local fishermen and by foreign tourists who live in shacks along the shore or in the main village. The location offers an ideal place to explore the stunning beaches, beautiful local villages, and surrounding nature outside of your retreat schedule.

You are always welcome to explore the beautiful surroundings of Palolem Beach. You can spend some time sunbathing, go for a swim, or explore the local village nearby.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Goa International Aiport (GOI). Earth Yoga Village is happy to organize an airport pick-up for you at an extra charge of 25 EUR.

Arrival by train

The nearest railway station from the village is Canacona train station which can be reached from Madgoan junction railway station in just 30 minutes.

Arrival by bus

There are bus services at a regular interval of 30 minutes from the beach to the Kadamba Transport Corporation (KTC) bus depot in Margao. The nearest KTC depot is in Canacona. The village is located at the north end of the beach near Cozy Nook resort.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 50% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
