Join Mehdi Zidhane and Adélia Nollet for 8 intense days of connection, joy and sharing of yoga, AcroYoga, Reiki and nature in a magnificent area, right on Cristobal Island, Bocas del Toro, Panama. Come and enjoy an entire week, immerse yourself between dreams and reality in CocoVivo Tropical Island Jungle Eco Retreat! This retreat is created as an initiatory journey between earth and sky, linking grounding and spiritual elevation, structure and creation, interiority and exchange, and matter and energy.
CocoVivo Tropical Island Jungle EcoRetreat is a property consisting of several cabins built on stilts directly on the reefs and a main house behind the beachfront. Even though the island has no power, CocoVivo has solar power and Wi-Fi connection. The cabins and house are comfortable and fortunately situated very close to animals living in their natural habitat. The memories created here will be unforgettable and truly a once in a lifetime experience.
CocoVivo currently consists of five accommodations options: Diving Board Room, Sunrise Room, Hidden Treasure on the Lagoon and the Floating Cabin built on stilts hovering above the water and the big Hill House on the mountain-side overlooking the flora, wildlife fauna and lagoon below. All rooms have free access to Wi-Fi, a well-stocked kitchenette, solar-generated electricity and fresh water, providing the ideal experience of tropical life at its finest.
Reiki practitioners use a technique they call palm healing or hands-on healing by which a "universal energy" is allegedly transferred through the palms of the practitioner to a patient in order to encourage healing.
This energy helps relieve blockages and improves physical and mental health. On this retreat, you will be introduced in the first degree of Reiki Usui and the traditional Reiki Usui techniques. After that, you will be able to transmit this energy to yourself and others.
This initiatory journey revolves around 5 axes that will be developed throughout the 8 days. Those axes are as follows:
On this retreat, you will go on an excursion to Red Frog Beach: visit the most scenic beaches of the archipelago with a snorkel stop at Hospital Point, a top snorkeling spot!
You will also experience dolphin watching in Dolphin Bay by sunset or sunrise. It's a private experience with more than a good chance to approach dolphins very closely with your SUP-board.
This retreat will take place at CocoVivo Tropical Island Jungle EcoRetreat located on Cristobal Island, Bocas del Toro, Panama. The retreat location is truly immersed between jungle and reef. The island has no roads, trails or electricity.
3 healthy daily meals with local and natural food, fresh, healthy and delicious, vegetarian or fish based will be served during this retreat.
There are 1-hour flights from Panamá City's domestic airport (PAC) into Bocas del Toro Airport (BOC). If you fly from Panamá City, you will need to go from the Tocumen International Airport (PTY) to the domestic airport (30-minute taxi ride at 35 USD), unless you fly with AirPanama, which departs from both airports. If you can book a flight from the international airport before 1:30 p.m., you can make it into Bocas del Toro the same day.
If you travel from Costa Rica you can book a flight from San José: Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) or Tobías Bolaños International Airport (SYQ) for 1 hour. Take into account that there is also a 28 USD international departure fee from Costa Rica. Always try to book flights to Bocas del Toro in advance, Skyscanner might help.
Once you have arrived at Bocas del Toro airport, which is located on Isla Colón, the Virginia's Dock is a 10 to 15-minute walk or 1 USD taxi ride away. There, Terre Essence de Soi will happily meet you for the pre-arranged boat pick-up.
