This retreat is all about taking the concept of adventure and play to a whole new level in a tropical paradise! Earth Play Retreats will be all about exploring the wonders of the outdoors as you embark on climbing trips, surf adventures, and play on slack lines set up on the beach and over the water.
Classes and accommodation will be based at Redefining Plays private property: Tres Amigos on Dogmans Beach in Rincon which also has housing for 10 guests. The accommodations are studios that all have kitchenettes and private balconies. Here you will have access to internet, kitchen supplies, living room, dining room, private balcony, rooftop lounge, showers, and yoga studio.
This retreat will take place in Rincon, Puerto Rico.
Intended for students of all levels, this retreat will focus on climbing trips to several different locations with beautiful limestone and tropical jungle surroundings. Rest days will include surf lessons and slack lining with optional yoga and Acro yoga classes to stretch, realign, and fly. Evenings will include Thai massage classes to restore well-being in the body and ensure a good night sleep so you are recharged for the next adventure.

Rental cars are recommended to get around town and are quite cheap.
The retreat will officially start at 18:00 on Wednesday eve with a welcome dinner at the house. The last class will be on Monday at 09:00.
Partners and children are welcome to join, even if they are not participating in the activities. Please contact Earth Play Retreats for pricing for special circumstances.
Book early to secure housing in the main house. Earth Play Retreats will also be securing additional housing in the area based on availability.
Please bring your own tent and sleeping bag or hammock for camping accommodation.
Shuttles and taxis can also be arranged to get to / from the airport and into town.
Puerto Rico is part of the USA, so if you are an American citizen, you do not need a passport to get in.

Heidi Wirtz is a professional climber, yoga teacher, and philanthropist. She holds a deep love of connecting with nature, sharing her passions, and inspiring others to follow their dreams. Heidis experience is deep rooted in exploration, team leadership, empowerment, and teaching.
Adi Carter has been a lifelong student of practicing yoga off the mat in all shapes and forms especially when it involves being outdoors. Her passion for movement and the environment has taken her on countless adventures around the world and she currently travels and teaches as part of the YogaSlackers and coordinates the Redefining Balance retreats to share the modalities of shifting perspective through yoga, slack lining, Acro yoga, climbing, surfing, mountain biking, and just about anything else you can think to do on the Earths terrain.
Traveling and teaching often times with her car as a home base, you can find her somewhere in the vicinity of an ocean, climb site, mountain or legit climbing tree as she works with students on and off the mat to discover a new sense of balance, strength, and focus in whatever their form of practice might be. Adis adventures and environmental awareness endeavors have been featured in The New York Times, Yoga Journal, Outdoor Japan, New York Magazine, National Geographic, L.A. Yoga, Yoga + Joyful Living, Urban Climber, Elephant Journal, Current TV, and Time for CNN.
A welcome dinner on Wednesday night is included in this retreat.
