Join yoga instructor Dylan Werner for a retreat full of meditation and personal growth in Nicaragua. Enjoy pranayama and Vinyasa classes taught by a diverse teacher with a background in wrestling, rock climbing, martial arts, health, and fitness. Surrounded by exotic landscapes, you will recover the calm and personal growth that you need in your life!
During this retreat, you will stay either in a private or shared room at The Inn at Rancho Santana. The Inn is a two-story, 17-room boutique inspired hotel featuring its own art gallery, courtyard, café, and lounge. The facilities are spacious and have private terrace with wrap around ocean views. They are decorated and custom with woodwork and furnishings by Mill Works at Rancho Santana, and window dressings by artist and printer Peter Fasano. Each room has it's private bathroom with hand painted tile work throughout.
There are slight variations between The Pacific Suite and the other rooms, the suite has it's own living room. The Inn also offers a suite designed with traveling friends and families in mind. A shared entry vestibule offers additional privacy and all rooms have a personal safe, king-sized bed, complimentary wireless internet, a state of the art in-room iPad concierge, eco-friendly 350 thread count sheets, and 100% cotton designer towels.
During this retreat, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a very fulfilling experience focused on diverse practices. You will enjoy daily yoga and meditation classes along with pranayama practices. You will also have the chance to enjoy evening Vinyasa and Yin workshops with Dylan Werner. All the yoga and meditations activities will also be accompanied by free time to explore the location and delicious locally sourced meals.
Dylan Werner is an inversion and arm balance master and is regarded as one of the world leaders in yoga strength training and body weight movement. Dylan is a diverse teacher, able to bring the most advanced concepts of yoga and movement to anyone at any level. With a background in wrestling, rock climbing, martial arts, health and fitness, Dylan found yoga to be a culmination of everything he loves.
This retreat will take place at Rancho Santana in Popoyo, Nicaragua. Rancho Santana is situated across acres of tropical dry forest located between the Pacific coast and Tola-Rivas. This residential community boasts 2,700 acres of rolling hills and two miles of rocky and dramatic shore broken up by five distinct beaches nestled in their own hideaways. The ranch has the distinction of being one of the only isthmuses; a strip of land that is bordered on both sides by water, yet connected on each end by land, on the entire Pacific Ocean. This rare geographical phenomenon gives the ranch nearly constant breezes.

During this retreat, you will be served three daily delicious local meals accompanied by one pre-yoga snack before every morning yoga class.
There are a variety of activities to enjoy either inside the resort or nearby. The ranch boasts two clubhouses with their own pool where you can enjoy a friendly game of pool, horseshoes, or bocce ball.
You can admire the varied landscapes and unmatched beauty of Nicaragua’s southern Pacific coast on horseback or enjoy stand up paddle board tours. If you feel like taking a peaceful break, you may try The Pool House, an oceanfront hideaway perfect for picnics, cookouts, cocktail parties, and sunset gatherings.
You may practice surf and let the local guides take you to the right place at the right time in order to catch the best waves in the area.
The early Spanish colonial jewel of Nicaragua is the quaint town of Granada. All throughout the town center are shining examples of quintessential early Spanish architecture, including churches, homes with garden courtyards, and the main square.
The city of Masaya is the folklore and artisan capital. Its surrounded by villages like Catarina, Masatepe, San Juan del Oriente. It provides for those who are more shopping inclined endless options for handmade wood furniture, pottery and tropical plant nurseries.
Rising high up out of Lake Nicaragua are Volcanoes Maderas and Concepcion, or better known as Isla de Ometepe. The ferry ride from the town of San Jorge takes you to this magical island where indigenous trees tower high above the forest floor, legends of pre-Colombian Chiefs are still told and natural natural springs take you back in time.
For a good dose of beach parties and tropical nightlife, San Juan is the place to go. The 10 square blocks of the town center are bursting with restaurants serving international fare, beach-side bars, coffee shops, artisan boutiques, and much more.If you want to experience a more adventurous activity, you may join to practice some zip lining in the mountains surrounding San Juan del Sur.
During this retreat, you may enjoy relaxing, athletic, and deep tissue massages at the Pura Spa for an additional cost.
