About This Center

We have a gorgeous, expansive, inspiring and majestic view from our mountain side location in the Sacred Valley of Peru. Each bungalow has several elements of the corresponding chakra, a full bathroom, bedroom with 3 beds and large windows to appreciate the view. A pathway connects and winds between the bungalows like the kundalini energy moving up the spine.

Samadhi is the final stage we work to achieve on the spiritual path of kindness, presence, peace and love. Our intention is to provide our guests with an inspiring place to relax and connect with a deeper aspect with themselves and with this place in others.

You’ll find many sacred sites and Inca ruins like Ollantaytambo, Pisac, Maras - Moray from Peru’s mysterious past including Machu Picchu which is only two hours away.

Samadhi Retreat Center. Seven geodesic chakra bungalows rise along the ridgeline of the Sacred Valley with a kundalini serpant river threading through. Your shared residence will be within one of these sacred chakra homes, inviting in the color, gemstones, flowers, and healing vibrations of that chakra. The main house above the crown overlooks the Sacred Valley, where you will celebrate the balance of Yin and Yang together as a spiritual family in this unique and world-renowned yoga shala. Samadhi is an intentional retreat center to know and explore your own essence in this sacred, ancient land.

Program

You will touch on the realms of resetting the nervous system, healing from past traumas, dissolving tensions, increasing musculoskeletal resiliency, strengthening joint stability, and cultivating elasticity in the body-mind. They use embodied and informed anatomy and alignment, scientific bases for sequencing, and psychological self-inquiry grounded in Buddhist practices.

They work together as Sangha, the spiritual community will be within the domain of Yin yoga and will contribute to your continuing education as a yoga practitioner, inquisitor, and/or facilitator.

Each day will co-mingle a balance of Yang / Vinyasa Flow and Yin / Restorative practices for your own embodied experience, as well as extensive teaching practicums to find your authentic voice as a space holder and mindful movement facilitator.

A specific focus on Pratyahara - the Great Withdrawal - will be encouraged by drawing the boundaries around retreat life to train in the principles of stillness, spaciousness, and quietude. Disconnecting from normative social contexts and devices is recommended during our time together to allow the nervous system to enter the deep folds of rich restoration.
