This retreat venue has been ranked among the 10th most beautiful retreat place in the world! It is a cozy villa with only 10 rooms, 5 of them are in the classy, antic (1934) colonial house, recently refurbished and fully equipped. The other 5 are located in the newly built modern house, all situated among palm tree tops and lush garden, close to pool area and spacious yoga shala. There’s also private balcony spaces with tables and chairs for night-time or morning reflection.

Program

Everyday will be different, you will explore different parts of yourselves and different aspects of Sri Lanka. You'll wake up with a gentle yoga flow and meditation every morning, followed by a healthy and yummy vegan breakfast. Day trips will take most of the day, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Everyday you will discover pieces of culture, nature, and history that will stay in your hearts for a long time.

There will be two days where you'll have free time in between breakfast and your workshop. You can spend the time relaxing or exploring on your own. Late in the afternoon, Down to Earth Mindful and Conscious Retreats will run interesting workshops and relaxing activities to keep exploring within you and give time and space to yourself to learn important tools for self-care and self-love.

The best vegan dinner ever is served at 7 p.m. and after that it's free time to jump in the pool, play, read, chit chat and enjoy the beautiful souls that surround you. The workshop topics range from pranayama, self-love, unblock your chakras with essential oils, and full moon singing bowls sound therapy.

Your home for the week will be a our gorgeous villa, is close to the calm of Hikkaduwa lagoon, a 5 minute stroll’s distance to the ocean, and has it’s own wonderful pool that lights up at night time, so you’re never far from the water! It’s such a spiritual place, with Buddhist temples surrounding the area, with thrilling Buddhist prayer calls to be hears every morning and evening - a calming break from the hustle and bustle of day to day ‘real life’.
