The retreat programs incorporate a combination of Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL), coaching, mindfulness, leadership, and yoga Nidra.
Your Itinerary
Day 1
- Meet and greet at the farmhouse
- Workshop opening - poem/chime sound
- Introduction to why horses can heal and how horses add value to human as teachers/guides/ coaches
- Sound healing chakra tuning
- Bio break in the farmhouse
- Discussion on the importance of emotions within the herd dynamic
- Step outside to tour Dovecot Farm’s barn
- Brief participants on meet the herd activity
- Introduction to each horse through a mindfulness exercise
- Come back to the barn and feedback horse interaction
- Lunch in the farmhouse
- Afternoon session - yoga in the farmhouse boardroom (if it's cool outside, you can look into the pond and fountain)
- Dinner
Day 2
- Dovecot Farm will incorporate more Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) and coaching exercises
- Learn how to lead one of the horses (activity to build a connection with a horse by leading one around obstacles)
- Feedback on communication styles and the meaning of leadership - 'what does a follow-worthy leadership mean?'
- Closing workshop prayer
- Yoga Nidra session in the Farmhouse
