Doron Yoga & Zen Center is an eco-conscious yoga resort located in the breathtaking surroundings of Lake Atitlán. The welcoming home is situated in Tzununá (translates to Land of the Hummingbird) which rests amongst the many exceptionally unique villages surrounding the lake.
Tzununá is the perfect spot for reconnecting with yourself as it is one of the quietest villages around, populated mainly by Mayan locals. Amongst the various reasons that make the location special is the Tzununá River that runs through the garden with many meditations spots by it.
The main yoga shala sits along the Tzununá River, allowing for the sound of water to flow softly and soothingly into your daily practices.
Additionally, when keen on visiting the neighboring villages, you may relax knowing that you are only one short boat or tuk-tuk ride away! The closest village to Tzununá is San Marcos La Laguna, which is very popular amongst tourists.
