Rosie Iles-Jonas

For Rosie, yoga is a journey. Over the years, she has unrolled her mat to study and practice Aerial, Ashtanga, Bikram, Feldenkrais, Forrest, Hatha, Pilates, Power, Restorative, Scaravelli, Sports, SUP, Yin, and Vinyasa yoga in South America and South East Asia. She is not wedded to one style of yoga because she likes to take inspiration from many forms of movement and physical therapy to create varied sessions.

My daughter (11) goes for 121 Yoga with Rosie and absolutely loves it. She has a huge amount of respect for Rosie, who has been an inspiration as well as a mentor to her- even helping her to overcome her fear of swimming in the sea. She has helped my daughter to understand how to use her flexibility to increase her strength, as well as practicing physical and mental control and calmness. I can see that her time with Rosie provides her with a calming space and a deeper understanding of her body- as well as skills and experiences that she will always carry with her. Thank You Rosie!

I go every Thursday with a friend to Rosie's class in Shoreham. It's probably one of the only classes I've enjoyed going to regularly. I've never done more than one yoga class before! I've still got a very long way to go but I always feel better after. She is a really good teacher and happy to answer questions and I don't feel intimidated at all. Thank you!

I have been attending the Hatha flow class with my teenage daughter for a couple of months now and we both really look forward to Wednesday now. We are both new to yoga but Rosie's gentle instruction with the focus on how it feels to you not how you look or think you are supposed to look is brilliant. Maintaining that yoga is fun and it's good to enjoy yourself. Really positive for me as I struggle with balancing which can often end up in giggles. Every week we leave relaxed and happy. My daughter now can't wait to start aerial yoga with Rosie.
