Catrinel Popescu

Catrinel Popescu is a health educator and a modern shaman. Cat has been practicing shamanic healing at the Spirit of the Inca School since 2009. She is an experienced diver into the unknown and a bridge between the worlds. She is well-versed in creating and embracing change and she is intimately familiar with healing trauma, soul loss, and intrusive energies.

Marie Genna

Dr. Marie Genna graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 1983 and has opened three successful offices since that time in northern Michigan. She served her community for the past 33 years and has helped many patients restore proper nerve functions and gain a better, healthier lifestyle. She practices various techniques which include Applied Kinesology, activator methods, and Neuromechanical Instrumentation to name a few.

Magda Voicila

Magda has been a massage therapist for 15 years. Throughout her career, she has been trained in various techniques from Yumeiho, Deep Tissue, Swedish massage, and Raindrop therapy. She has worked in many spa centers in Europe, but her focus now is essential oils. Raindrop technique uses a sequence of essential oils that are immune enhancing, support the body's natural defenses, as well as the circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, digestive, nervous, and other body systems.

Alexandra Simiean

Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (Hatha Yoga)

Alexandra Simiean has been enthusiastically practicing yoga for several years. She obtained a 200-hour Yoga Alliance yoga teacher certificate at a traditional school in Rishikesh, India, where she studied all the aspects of Hatha yoga. She is also certified in Craniosacral Therapy since 2012 and Reiki Healing since 2015. She practiced Ashtanga yoga, Kundalini yoga, Yin yoga, Pregnancy yoga, Kids yoga, and Hatha Yoga, the latter being her "first love".

David Rae

David Rae LMT describes himself as a medicine man of sorts. Having more than 11 years in the health and wellness industry, from personal training to managing two vegan restaurants, David has seen many aspects of the wellness community. He merges this experience with his training into the holistic bodywork. David combines aromatherapy, table Thai, reflexology, deep tissue, laying of hands energy work, affirmations, Swedish massage, coaching, and advocacy to create an opportunity for the individual to unearth, examine, and release old holding patterns.

Joda Cook

Joda Cook is a Master Didjeridoo Player and sound vibrational healer who has over 20 years of experience both playing the instrument and developing the art of breath control and circular breathing. Joda plays straight from his heart chakra. He has played and performed vibrational healing all up and down the East Coast and hand-crafts his own instruments and custom-makes them to order. He is both a musician and a healer and once you have experienced his magic you will never forget it.

James Aspey

James Aspey is the living proof of how you can turn your life around by making smart changes like eating healthy, doing sports and staying positive. After winning a three-year battle with cancer, he left behind his bad habits and turned to surfing, veganism, and meditation. In order to raise awareness for animals and promote peace over violence, he took a 365-day vow of silence. In his journey (January 13, 2014 to January 13, 2015) he proved to all people he met that living vegan is easy and satisfying.

Ken Blue

Ken's culinary training began as a child, working and playing at his grandfather’s restaurant. Over time, he worked in every aspect of the restaurant, from the bottom up, front and back of the house. Upon becoming a certified Hippocrates Health Educator, Ken became an assistant chef at Hippocrates and continued learning under Chef Kelly Serbonich. He also began teaching Tai Chi, Qigong and meditation at the Institute at that time. Now he could bring together his background in Biology, food service, and energy work.

Pam Blue

As of 2005, Pam began working at Hippocrates Health Institute as a massage therapist specializing in CranioSacral therapy and reflexology. While at the institute, she had the privilege of returning to her love for education while teaching guests on the Life Transformation Program and students within the Health Educator Program. Her love for this living foods lifestyle continued to grow alongside her love for education and inspired her to become a Certified Hippocrates Health Educator. As of 2013, she became the Director of the Hippocrates Health Educator Program.

    "The retreat was a fantastic experience. The Do Good Academy team coordinated a nice mix of meditation, delicious yet healthy food, and refreshing outdoor activities. The mountains of Romania are gorgeous and an excellent place for retreats, and the locals were always offering kind smiles." website, edited
