Yoga ceremony is an experiential yoga journey, a vision, quest, and epic adventure of self discovery, into and beyond the self. This is not your average teacher training. DiviniTree Yoga will cover all the bases, and you will receive a 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate upon completion, and yet, this is truly an opportunity to step into your own power, your own vision, and your own voice.
During this training, you will be accommodated at Paz y Luz. Paz y Luz means peace and light, a beautiful guest and conference center where people gather for workshops, to experience sacred healing sessions, or simply to relax, while visiting the Pisac archeological site and famous market.
The mission at Paz y Luz is to provide a haven for travelers and seekers from around the world to rest in the refined energy of the Sacred Valley surrounded by powerful mountains, and to offer opportunities for healing, balance, restoration, and transformation.
Paz y Luz will arrange if you need to rent either of the conference rooms or want to utilize the spa. The two-acre property, next to the Urubamba River, is surrounded by beautiful mountains and corn fields.
The reception area has a sky-lighted living room with fireplace and kitchenette. They also have three rooms dedicated to guests who want to stay long-term with a fully-equipped common kitchen and three new two-bedroom bungalows with their own kitchen, bathroom, fireplace, outdoor terrace, and private garden area.
Paz y Luz’s brightly decorated rooms have stunning mountain views, comfortable beds, private bathrooms with skylight, shower, and on-demand hot water. There is someone on duty 24/7 to assist you with any needs you might have. Daily housekeeping is also available.
Yoga is about union with the higher centers of perception. This training is an opportunity to study sacred texts, immerse yourself in asana, pranayama, meditation, ritual, adventure, community, and magic. DiviniTree Yoga realize that yoga as taught in the West is a fusion of many sacred ways and paths. There, they merge Vedic knowledge with shamanic training all in the heart of the world, the Sacred Valley of Peru.
DiviniTree Yoga are carefully selecting participants to create an amazing container for this deeply transformative work. Participants must have the right attitude, an open heart, a willingness to serve the world, be up for adventure, able to go with the flow, and ready to leap into a new level of knowingness. There will be yoga ceremonies involved such as yogic rituals and shamanic ceremony. There will also be a local plant medicine ceremony.
You will work on anatomy and learn teaching tools to build a community. You will learn the energy work. You will find your soul's true journey and learn how you can grow your yoga business.
A comprehensive book list will be provided to you upon acceptance into the program, with recommendations on where to purchase your books. While the cost of these books is not included in the program fee, you are required to read all course material. A course binder is included.
The program will include steady and strong asana, meditation, and pranayama practices each time you all will meet during the retreat. It is highly recommended that you understand your limitations physically, mentally, and emotionally, and work to develop your own practice. If you do have any specific health concerns, please be clear on the application and seek your doctor’s advice and release prior to enrolling in the course.
A yoga teacher training course can be demanding on all levels, consider the present state of mind, body, and emotion before you enter into this program and do so with wisdom.
Upon completion of this yoga teacher training, students will receive 200-hour teacher training certificate affiliated with Yoga Alliance. Registration with Yoga Alliance provides a globally recognized credential.
You will be able to go on various excursions throughout the training.

Sebastian Hansen grew up working in family greenhouse and florist. He is a certified massage therapy 650-hour at Kishwaukee College, a certified hypnotherapy 350-hour at American Academy of Hypnotherapy, and also a certified Laughter leader with Madan Kataria's school of Laughter yoga. He got a permaculture designer certification in Hawaii with Aloha Aina. He has taught Reiki for ten years and got 400-hour Ayurvedic consultation training with American institute of Vedic Studies. He also holds 100-hour Thai massage certification in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Magnolia discovered yoga at the age of 16 and it was love at the first class. She began teaching in 2002 and has traveled the world studying various styles of yoga, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini, Tantra, and Prenatal. Her studies have guided her throughout India, Thailand, Mexico, Bali, and the U.S. She is drawn to the practice yoga not only for the asana (physical) benefits but for the greater way of life that yoga encompasses.
This retreat will take place in Pisac, Sacred Valley, Peru.
You will be served with delicious organic vegetarian meals daily.
Please book your flight to arrive at Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport (CUZ). For cheapest flight option, you can fly to Lima, and then book a one-way flight to Cusco if you want to travel around after the training. Else, you can book a round trip from Lima to Cusco if you will be returning directly back after the training.
From Cusco, you can take one-hour collective minivan for 1.23 USD that leaves from Puputi Street, near Rosas Pata Market and then from Pisac you can walk to the right from the bridge, along the river for 12 minutes.
Take a taxi for 1.54 to 1.85 USD or a moto taxi for 0.92 to 1.54 USD directly to the hotel. A taxi from Cusco can be ordered along with your reservation. The drive is 50 minutes long and the cost is 18.49 USD. Paz y Luz can also arrange taxis from other locations.
