Divine Light Yoga invites you to join this wonderful yoga retreat in Zanzibar. This retreat is specially designed for you to experience self-discovery and transformation, explore and balance the chakra system through yin yang yoga! Let philosophy, meditation, and reflective journaling become a special part in your life and immerse yourself in the art of self improvement in the perfect place to unwind, connect to the natural surroundings, and delve into your yoga practice.
During this retreat, you will stay either in a private or a shared room. Uhuru Beach Resort has 17 sea facing traditional bungalows that are directly on the beach. Each of the uniquely decorated, newly renovated beach bungalows have en-suite bathroom and private terrace with ocean view.
During this retreat, you will focus on self-discovery, connection, and transformation through specific yoga sequences, self-inquiry meditation practices, yoga philosophy, and reflective journaling. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy optional stand up paddle board yoga during the sunset as well as candle-light Yin, and yoga Nidra during the evenings.

This retreat will be held at Uhuru Beach Resort in Zanzibar, Tanzania. Uhuru Beach Resort is are located in the village of Jambiani, a village on the Tanzanian island of Unguja, part of Zanzibar, on the southeast coast between Paje and Makunduchi. Formerly known as Shehe guest house, it was one of the first guest houses in Jambiani and has been open for over 20 years.

The beach-side restaurant serves organic, natural and fresh foods suitable for vegetarian and vegan diets. Prices include 3 nutritious meals per day.
See the dolphins during the early morning. You will set off for Kizimakazi; home to bottle nose and spinner dolphins, and sail out to open water where you can swim with them. You will also go snorkeling and then you will be taken to a beautiful place for breakfast to relax and enjoy the view over Kizimakazi.
Fishing trips can be arranged on request.
Uhuru Kite Zanzibar has a completely empty spot with very few kiters. It is located only a little way from the popular Paje spot but it has the exact same conditions. It is in fact a far better place for kitesurf in Zanzibar.
This is a full-day tour safari starting from the fishing village of Fumba sailing on a dhow in this conservation area where there are uninhabited islands and sandbanks. The bay is frequented by humpback and bottle nose dolphins. During the trip, you will be able to swim and snorkel off the pristine white sandbank into the crystal clear water seeing coral reef and tropical fish.
Practice snorkeling at the Blue Lagoon at Dongwe village. It is known for its crystal clear turquoise water and marine life.
Stone town is the old quarter of Zanzibar town which is a world heritage site. You may take a guided tour of this interesting city and wander around the markets, bustling streets, museums, and the slave market. Discover the story behind the Zanzibar doors and enjoy lunch in a roof top restaurant or visit Forozani gardens to taste the excellent local street food during the evening.
This is a 30-minute boat trip to Tumbatu. The entire island is solar-powered and written permission must be obtained to enter the island. This is a chance for you to experience something very authentic. The Mgana men play the drums and read your signs to tell your future.
