Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort is known mainly for catering to corporate events, vacations, and even retreats with all the facilities they provide. Whether you are ruminating or just looking for something fun, there are a lot of outdoor activities (hot springs, skiing, mountain biking, and more) you must try.

The blocked lodging that the yoga retreat includes are the cliffside rooms, along with one king or two queen beds for two to four people, or the cabins for six persons. Cliffside lodging offers wonderful and overlooking views of the resort and the Rocky Mountains. Moreover, staying in the place gives you VIP admission to the resort’s spa and club. How cool is that?

Cabins

Enjoy a touch of luxury in these modern cozy log cabins. Rustic at heart, the cabin has one bedroom with a king size bed, two queen size beds in loft, queen size sofa pullout in living room, and one bathroom. Step outdoors and enjoy the surrounding Chalk Cliff views from your private deck or patio. The cabin is a short walk to any of the natural hot spring pool areas and the spa and club at Mount Princeton.

Cliffside room

But with Diane Sieg’s mindful yoga retreat, you can restore yourself through sessions on stress reduction and overall wellness, which will surely help you understand your feelings and deal with your thoughts.

For the first day, November 11, participants will be welcomed during the retreat opening. You can choose whether to come early or to stay late because this day serves as a free day to enjoy the place, as the next days will all be about the retreat and yoga activities.

You can choose to participate in group, one-on-one, or both mindfulness sessions. Restorative yoga, alignment yoga, and mindfulness practices are the main objectives of this meditation. Hiking, reading, and hot spring soaking are also included in the meditation package.

    Diane Sieg is an emergency room nurse turned yoga teacher. And now, is also a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP). In addition, Diane was able to author her own books entitled Stop Living Life like an Emergency! Rescue Strategies for the Overworked and Overwhelmed, and 30 Days to Grace: The Practice Guide to Achieve Your Ultimate Goals.

The retreat will be held in Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort, located between the two towns of Buena Vista and Salida in Colorado, USA. It is surrounded by the famous Rocky Mountains, rushing rivers, hiking trails, and other spectacular views that will truly make you one with nature. Thus, it will freshen your spirit. The center is secluded but not too remote. That is why it is perfect for anyone who wants to take their time off.

  • Take Highway 285 out of Denver through Fairplay.
  • After Fairplay, drive about 34 miles to the town of Johnson Village.
  • Continue south on Highway 285 toward Salida.
  • Drive five and half miles to Nathrop.
  • You will see a sign that says Mount Princeton and Saint Elmo.
  • This is County Road 162; turn right.
  • The resort is located four and haf miles ahead on the left side of the road.

  • Take I-70 west to the Copper Mountain or Leadville exit: Highway 24.
  • Go to Highway 24 through Leadville and Buena Vista, going south toward Salida.
  • This is Highway 285.
  • Past Johnson Village, drive eight miles to Nathrop.
  • You will see a sign that says Mount Princeton and Saint Elmo.
  • This is County Road 162; turn right.
  • The resort is located four and half miles ahead on the left side of the road.

  • Take Highway 24 to Johnson Village.
  • At the stop sign, turn south on Highway 285, going south toward Salida.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flights to arrive at Denver International Airport (DEN). You can also book your flight to arrive at Colorado Springs Airport (COS). Transfer from and to these airports are available upon request. Central Colorado Regional Airport (AEJ) is actually the nearest airport but there are no commercial airlines flying into this airport at this time.
