Demystifying Yoga Meditation and Yoga Retreat Program

The yoga sessions will be a balanced combination of poses and a sustained increase awareness of posture to another. Awareness and attention to breathing are important aspects of the course. Classes are energetically balance, poses soothing and deep relaxation. Pranayama (science of breathing), chanting and mediation will be the focused part of the retreat.

  • 06:00 - 7:45 Meditation in the morning followed by satsang (chanting)

  • 08:30 - 10:00 Pranayama class
  • 10:00 - 10:45 Breakfast
  • 12:00 - 13:00 Discussion, lecture and theory class
  • 13:30 - 14:15 Lunch
  • 16:00 - 17:30 Hatha yoga class
  • 18:00 Dinner
  • 19:30 - 20:30 Meditation followed by satsang (chanting) in the evening

Retreat location

Rishikesh, known as the place of sagas is a spiritual town situated 24 kilometers upstream from Haridwar, at the confluence of the Chandrabhaga and Ganga rivers and surrounded by scenic beauty of the hills on three sides. The whole place is considered to be sacred as it is believed that meditation at this place leads to attainment of salvation. There are many temples-some ancient, some new along the river Ganges. The riverside is dotted by the ashrams of sadhus and sages.
