Join Yoga in English Berlin for a nourishing week of immersing yourself in the stunning mountains of Slovenia with a deep daily practice of yoga and meditation. This is your week to reconnect and recharge. All sessions are optional, so you can take exactly what you need. There will be plenty of free time for reading, wandering through the trees, swimming, sauna, reading, sun-bathing, forest-bathing, napping, and more.

Your home for the week has 23 hectares of its own land to explore, surrounded by forests and meadows, as Ana from the retreat center says, "as far as the eye can see and the feet can carry."

You're welcome just as you are, whether you want to connect socially or feel like re-charging with quiet time, or a mixture of the two. You have the option to stay in shared or private accommodations, as well as enjoy the refreshing natural pool to jump into after the sauna.

Programm

A retreat from your usual schedule is a powerful way to come back to center and establish or deepen your practice, taking all the benefits home with you.

The daily schedule will offer morning practice at the peaceful, 'sattvic' time of day, journaling inspiration, and philosophy teachings with personal time to reflect. Their yoga program will offer energizing Vinyasa, mindful slow flow, and meditation to quieten the mind and rest deeply.

You'll stay close to the authentic meaning of yoga and Vedānta philosophy, with periods of traditional 'mauna' practice (community silence) and mindful meditation, giving you the space to reconnect with your purpose and come home to your true nature of ‘pūrṇa’ (fullness).

Morning sessions will be scheduled at a time that gives you enough deep sleep. Plus, they’ll guide an (optional!) supported digital detox so you can truly enjoy a sanctuary away from busy, switched-on daily life.

The retreat will take place near Velenje, Slovenia. The stunning mountain landscape of the venue lends itself to winter magic. There is often snow at this time of year and there will for sure be sauna afternoons, wide mountain views, and quiet mindful forest walks. Imagine mountain views for miles, acres of woodland to explore right on your doorstep, and a refreshing natural pool to jump into after the sauna.

Your food all week will be alive with energy and nourishment, picked freshly from the land's own permaculture gardens and put together with love according to Ayurveda principles. You’ll enjoy a healthy, varied, organic brunch and dinner with tea and snacks throughout the day.

Arrival by airplane

Please arrange your flight to arrive at Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (Brnik Airport) (LJU). Yoga in English Berlin make the journey from Ljubljana easy for you by arranging an optional group taxi transfer on the first and last day of the retreat, whether you’re arriving into the city or the airport.

The cost spread is across all members of the group. There is a small extra fee for pick-up from the airport (ask them for info if needed). The taxi on the start day leaves Ljubljana (city / airport) at approximately 12:00 and leaves Veduna on the last day at approximately 12:30 - either to the airport or city center as required.

If you make your own way to Veduna, they ask that you please arrive between 13:30 - 14:30 on the retreat start day and depart at 12:30 with the rest of them on the last day. Thank you.

Arrival by train

There are many train and coach options for environmentally-friendly travel. It's approximately 11 hours from Berlin and overnight possible.
