What is Pancha Kosha?

Pancha means five and Kosha means sheaths. This Pancha Kosha Retreat has a holistic approach to rejuvenate and detox you at all 5 layers of your Self-expression. The Pancha Kosha Retreat can be considered a process that has a deeper and longer-lasting effect than a Panchakarma detox, which mainly works at the body level only.

In life, you may meet many people, but you may end up not meeting your self. Very rarely does someone get to know oneself at all the 5 layers of existence (Pancha Kosha); body, breath, mind, wisdom, and soul.

Experiencing yourself at the 5 layers is the base for the highest detoxification and rejuvenation process possible. This is also the key to resolving any health issues, being efficient in day-to-day life, and evolving in the journey of life.

Previous knowledge of yoga is not required; willingness to detox, rejuvenate, and meet yourself is sufficient. As a result of this retreat, you will develop the strength to act in the action world in a very efficient way.

This program will take place in Srirangapatna which is in the Mandya District in the Mysore Division of Karnataka, South India.

About the Location

The entire course is conducted at Yoga Gita, Science of Consciousness Ashram, about 9 kilometers north of Mysore. The ashram is surrounded by agricultural fields just outside the historical town of Srirangapatna, in the state of Karnataka.

The center borders the river Kaveri where all kinds of animal life can be observed. The tranquility of nature vibrates day and night through the sounds of the river, crickets, and birds. Be at total peace with yourself, enjoying beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and the richness of the gardens.

Srirangapatna has a moderate tropical climate throughout the year with a temperature that varies from 15 to 32 degrees Celsius.

In Yoga Gita Science of Consciousness Ashram, a variety of programs are happening, from Yoga Teacher Training Courses, Pancha Kosha Retreat, Silent retreats, and yoga retreats to diving fully into the study of the Self by attending the Sadhana program.

Every day the body will be nourished with two sattvic meals which include grains, pulses, sprouts, and vegetables from the organic gardens.

Food and drinks are prepared from the background of cleansing, matching food combinations, and individual constitutions.
