Whether you are a yoga beginner with an open mind (classes can be dynamic) wanting to improve your flexibility and general fitness, or an advanced yoga student looking to deepen your practice, Yoga Embodied's highly qualified yoga teacher, Anja Brierley Lange, can meet each individual’s needs. You will learn relaxation and breathing techniques. It is not competitive and you practice and develop at your own pace. The classes will be held in Jim's Farm Villa's shaded yoga pavilion with breathtaking views, surrounded by nature.
You will enjoy yoga sessions in the morning and evening, have a few ayurvedic talks with Anja and even get to try some Ayurvedic treatments with the resident Ayurvedic doctor, Dr. Ranjith. The theme for the flow yoga sessions and talks is on Ayurveda, the five elements, and creating balance in our yoga practice and in life. Talks on introduction to Ayurveda, the basics, and how you can use Ayurveda in yoga and support your diet, health, and wellbeing.
This retreat will take place at Jim's Farm Villas in Matale, Sri Lanka. The classes will be held in a shaded yoga pavilion with breath-taking views, surrounded by nature.
