The house has two main suites with queen-size beds, veranda with ocean view, and a lot of privacy. The other option would be a shared room, which has two single beds, easy access to the pool area, and also with ocean view.

The yoga classes are based on the teachings of Rizze yoga, an expressive and somatic yoga movement that teaches self-regulation and mindfulness. Everyone is welcome, and depending on your level, you will be guided through options and modifications. Classes are not mandatory, you are free to practice as often as you’d like.

    Lana lives in Vancouver and is the founder and head trainer of the Rizze Yoga Program. She uses yoga as a pathway to support an attunement to your own fluid system, which fosters a connection to yourself and the world around you in a sustainable and compassionate manner, regardless as to age, gender, or physical capacity. For her, a movement is cultivated both mindfully and joyfully. By using a combination of sound, mantra, asana, dance, and meditation to allow energy to hydrate and open your bodies and minds in a way that is sustainable and life-affirming.

  • Teresa Prado

    Teresa is a Brazilian living in Vancouver. She has been a yoga instructor for the past four years after finishing the Rizze Yoga Immersion Training, which offers training in Hatha yoga with influences of expressive movement and breath. Teresa’s classes incorporate dynamic movements for active bodies while also supporting a slow, steady rhythm for students of all levels. She believes in the fluidity of movement and the importance of release through sound and breath to create more open spaces in your bodies. Thus, bringing a sense of unity between mind, body, and soul.

Ilhabela is the largest island on the coast of Brazil, located halfway between São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The house is located near the Feiticeira beach, a calm beach on the north side of the island. It is a 5-minute walk to the beach from the house or you can also access the waterfront from directly below the house.

You will be served with daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food will be inspired by the ways Brazilian eat, which means a lot of fresh seafood, vegetables, and grains. There will also be some fresh fruit and juices. Every meal can be easily made taking into consideration any dietary restrictions if needed.

Time flies by in this house! You can spend the day by the pool, access the ocean by going down the stairs to the little bay, or go for a walk to the nearest beach. If you want a bit more adventure, Ilhabela has plenty of activities during the day such as kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, snorkeling, and scuba diving.

There are also tours via boat or Jeep to explore deserted beaches around the island. It is also possible to book a massage right at the house. Or you can simply spend the day in town, strolling and enjoying a nice Brazilian coffee with “pão de queijo”.

Massage services are also available for booking and the therapist will come to the house.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at São Paulo - Guarulhos International Airport (GRU). Transfer from and to the airport is included. Yoga-Bela will pick you up from the airport. Please plan to arrive on Saturday, November 11 and depart on the next Saturday, November 18.
