During this changing period, this live-stream teacher training program is a safe and affordable way to learn and train from the comfort of your home, at your own pace, without paying accommodation and food.
Adopting the policy that yoga starts from the inner peace, the self-doubt of approved beliefs, and the constant need for self-exploration, you will explore deeper and find a practice that suits your mind and body, so that you can follow your personal dharma inside this path.
The teaching is Vinyasa-based with a focus as well on Hatha and Restorative yoga. The training is functional focused and the methods taught will make you a confident, well informed yoga instructor upon the latest trends in yoga practice, like assisting, cueing, sequencing, conditioning, adjusting and modifying, as well as upon the modern understanding of the energetic theory, based on the modern sciences and the ancient yoga methods as well. With the embodiment tool of yoga, you will be able to act, not only as a yoga instructor serving multiple needs in your communities, but also as a spiritual coach, moving beyond limited programming.

1. Contact hours
There will be more than 200 training hours. The training overpasses the 120 required contact hours as there are offered. Specifically, there are offered 156 contact livestream hours (8-4pm EET with 2 hours break in between (10-11pm, 1-3pm are hours of break), 6 teaching hours daily/ 6 teaching days weekly/ 26 teaching days total)
2. 80 non-contact hours
These are hours for self-study, eg. completing tests, creating practices to teach, audios of meditations, etc (you are guided with all the necessary info and online tools access to create this practicum).
By the end of the training program, participants are expected to be able to
Theory & Practice via Livestream Training and an Online Library with digital material, videos, and audios
The content is divided in 10 modules that communicate with the practice
Each of the 10 Modules includes:
Benefits, finding the personal voice for meditation guidance, and types of meditation (theming guided meditation, visualization, yoga Nidra, positive affirmations, non-guided meditation, etc.)
Muscular system, skeletal system, planes of motion, types of movements, joints actions, etc.
Yoga applied anatomy: anatomy knowledge that serves the yoga practice, eg. muscles and joints that work in each asana
For each module you are required to:
1. Complete an online quizz that summarizes the knowledge of every module or learns new content
2. Submit a 10-minute minimum recording of yourself meditating (you can maximize the video speed as the idea is not assess you, but to understand if you keep on track with the meditation)
3. Submit a recorded session of you teaching a hypothetical class or a real class (eg. relatives or friends, as many as you want). Creating specific detailed flows with teaching demonstration is part of your practicum. If you have students you can offer hands-on assists that will be more beneficial for you to prepare you for future real class conditions, however we understand this might not be possible and that you might teach alone with performing style (doing and teaching)
4. Submit a recorded session of you attending a class as a teacher.
It is required that you practice as a student and record them to be sure the work is done. This is part of your practicum and mirrors the in-person training that students have a practice time. Your practices should be recorded and send for feedback via wetransfer (see below how you use it). Your practices are done by watching the practice under the section inside each module with the title ‘Practicum-> Practice’. You should record at least 1 practice for each module. If you do only 1, then this practice must be from choosing either solar (under number 1, skillful) or lunar (under number 2, easier). If you choose to practice and record more than 1 practice per module, then choose free from the rest practices. The more practices you record, the better. This is personal choice. If you are a beginner, it is proposed to record the lunar practices.
Submit pre-recorded 4 Yoga Sessions and receive assessment based on an assessment sheet that is used for all the modules sessions submits. The assessment comes by your mentor and lead teacher and not by a fellow student. The assessment is detailed and pedagogy based, is not a pass not pass. These assessments often surpass the 20 pages, as the idea is to inform you on alignment, weakness, technique, etc. The sessions are scored with minimum 70% to pass. If failed, you repeat the sessions asked whenever is possible and you feel ready
a. Submit a 90 minutes Vinyasa Flow of an “all-levels” or “Intermediate/Advanced” Vinyasa class.
The class should be thematic based. It should include 1) dharma talk/initiation with sankalpa and pranayama 2) peak phase with waves or with multiple vinyasas or peak pose, 3) closing phase with pranayama and guided meditation. It should also include these elements: 1) sun salutations, 2) standing poses, balance poses, and backbends, 3) abdominal poses, seated poses, 4) at least 1 handstand and 1 inversion, but with variations, if you are not feeling ready or safe yet, thus mirroring a typical modern-style yoga class, 5) final relaxation. All the participants must follow the same base practice with variations depending on personal skill level. The advanced students will have advanced poses especially in the section backbends and abdominals (eg. more repetitions instead of rest). Instruct to maintain an even breathing pattern as one would expect of an all levels Vinyasa class.
b. Submit a 90 minutes Hatha
Record a 90-minute video of an “all-levels” or “Intermediate/Advanced” Hatha class.
It should create a connection with the tradition, eg. refer the benefits of the poses, avoid flowing outside the sun salutations, speak about the spirituality of the practice, offer a mini dharma talk, etc.Include Traditional Techniques of Bandha, Pranayama, Mudra, Mantra, Guided Meditation The advanced students will have advanced poses especially in the section backbends and abdominals (eg. more repetitions instead of rest). Instruct to maintain an even breathing pattern as one would expect of a Hatha Class
c. Submit a recorded 60 minutes Restorative
Use homemade or industry props with poses. Offer a short mobility part if you like.
Use visualization techniques and language relative to Restorative
d. Submit a recorded 60 minutes Workshop-based Yoga
Offer a specialized class that has specific target, movements, and theme, eg. Yoga for Low Back Pain, Mindfulness, Arm Balances break down, Sound Healing, etc. The theme is free for you to choose. Offer tips and allow your students to learn more things than they wouldn't learn in a typical yoga class
Complete a 3-hour long written test with open notes (strongly advice to open the notes only when needed, as the time will not be sufficient to complete the test)
The score required for this test is 70%. If failed, you repeat the written test whenever is possible and you feel ready
Throughout the training, a certain selected bibliography is used and proposed for lifelong learning as well.
Also, free ebooks are given to read and complete the exercises.
