Learn to fly in magical paradise. Learn to teach or join as a fun retreat. Experience a dynamic variety of activities and styles including aerial hatha, aerial vinyasa, aerial acro, aerial Iyengar, aerial yin, aerial choreography and performance, practice teaching everyday, design original classes, study scripted routines, create group performances and fly over the ocean with our bamboo tripods. Total beginners are welcome. No experienced required. Registered Yoga Alliance Teachers receive a certificate of continued education. Courses start every month in Bali, Thailand, India.

During this retreat, you will stay at Cantik House, just 5 minutes from Ubud Yoga Center. Rooms will have hot water and Wi-Fi.
All classes are aerial
Ulu Aerial yoga is a mix of yoga, acrobatics, pilates and physical therapy. Our training focuses developing teaching skills and giving students a wide variety of styles and unique workshops plus fun collaborative creative activities.
No previous yoga experience is required. Our students range from total beginners and seniors searching for pain relief and healing to advanced aerial yogis searching for something new and exciting. Ages 18-65. On one hand, aerial is easier than normal yoga because it supports one’s body weight and allows beginners to stretch more, attain correct alignment and do advanced poses. We encourage students to take it easy and rest.
We do not use silks or hammocks, but do many of the same poses like anti-gravity yoga. Our swings are a superior unique design made with yoga mat inserts for precision fit and comfort. The swings fit above the waist and below the buttocks, which is perfect for sitting and inversions. They easily roll up for extra cushion on the hips in forward folds and swinging flows.
Aerial is fun and gentle way to get strong, relieve pain and heal the body. Swings support the body’s weight, enhance our range of motion and allow us to stretch deeper and work a greater range of back and core muscles. Aerial offers great therapeutic benefits. We use gravity to decompress the spine, realign the vertebrae, relieve disc and nerve pressure, which causes pain. Most importantly, it’s fun and makes people smile :)
Students receive a certificate from Ulu Yoga (Edward Pawlak), who is a continued education provider through Yoga Alliance. This is the highest international certification available for aerial yoga. Students who have already completed a 200hr yoga training course approved by Yoga Alliance can register their 50hr online as additional training hours. Our students teach all over the world, many are not members of Yoga Alliance. Every country and studio or gym or resort has different rules and requirements about who can teach.
Edward, USA, E-200hr RYT #197661, started Yoga in 2007 and completed 200hr TTC in Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow with Samyak Yoga in India. Before yoga, Edward taught university education and worked in music theater production. In 2014 he founded ULU YOGA and developed aerial programs in Thailand at Samma Karuna Awakening and Healing Center, Orion Healing Center, Gaia Yoga Shalla, and Agama Yoga and Blue Indigo Cottage in Cambodia. Edward has lead 14 teacher trainings (as of May 2017) and has several highly skilled and qualified assistants to give the course a wide variety of expertise.
On Sunday you will do aerial outiside and take beautiful pictures in nature.
Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga)
Edward started to practice yoga in 2007 and completed a 200-hour teacher training in Ashtanga Vinyasa flow. Before yoga, Edward taught university education and worked in music theater production. In 2014, he founded Ulu Yoga, now a 200hr RYS with Yoga Alliance and developed aerial programs in Thailand at Samma Karuna Awakening and Healing Center, Orion Healing Center, Gaia Yoga Shala, Jaran's Yoga, Wonderland Healing Center, Jungle Experience, Agama Yoga, Blue Indigo Cottage in Cambodia, Ubud Yoga Center in Bali and more.
This retreat will take place at the Ubud Yoga Center in Bali, which is the yoga capital of the world. Bali is stunning gorgeous and Ubud has so many wonderful shops and restaurants.
Course includes a healthy light breakfast.
In your free time, you can visit the nearby beautiful beaches, take a boat tour, visit historical temples, take cooking classes, book a massage, check out various other yoga classes in Ubud.
You can book a body treatment or Thai massage for an additional cost.
Once you had reached to Denpasar at Ngurah Rai International Airport, you may take a taxi to reach to Ubud Yoga Center.
