The cafe offers nourishing homemade vegetarian meals.
Harmony Spa is one of the gems of this retreat center. They offer services from massage to esoteric readings to ionic foot baths and more. Lake Atitlán, Guatemala is unlike any other destinations. Known as the “jewel of the highlands”, it is one of the few places left in the world where the traditional Mayan people still thrive. There are dozens of water taxis that will transport you to the many different villages around the lake. Each is unique in style and culture. The lake itself sits about one mile above sea level and is surrounded by three majestic volcanos. Lake Atitlán has captivated people for centuries. Some even call it “the most beautiful lake in the world".
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets are abundant. The center does accommodate most special dietary restrictions like allergies, vegan, and non-gluten diets. The center serves wholesome, fresh, organic when possible, meals that are simple and delicious. Most meals have a protein source (eggs, beans, cheese, nuts etc.). Fish and chicken are available for an additional fee.
If you are concerned, you can bring some alternative snacks to supplement your meals. It may be a good idea to bring a protein bar for each day of your retreat. At the retreat center, there is unlimited filtered water, so you can fill your water bottles.
If you are on a high protein diet, have dietary restrictions or have extreme allergies, please be sure True Nature Education is aware of this and they will forward information to your destination, so it can be prepared.
Please book your flight to arrive at La Aurora International Airport (GUA). Transfer from and to the airport is included. True Nature Education will pick you up from the airport.
There will be one group airport shuttle each way based on the flight window guidelines. Be sure your flights align with the provided flight windows if you wish to use the group shuttle.
