You will spend your nights at various accommodations prepared by Trekt Himalaya along your trek on the Annapurna Circuit route. For your first and last nights, you will stay at the hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara.

Trekt Himalaya Yoga Holiday Nepal Program

Your local guide and a fitness trainer will accompany you on one of Nepal’s most beautiful treks to the Annapurna region. Each day, you will begin your morning workout and yoga, followed by a healthy breakfast and then a full day (5-6 hours) of trekking through the world’s best mountain vistas and ancient Himalayan villages.

Evenings filled with a fun as recount the day with your fellow fitness trekkers and a healthy meal at a traditional teahouse. This trek takes you over the famous Thorong-La pass so bring your prayer flags.

You will learn to eat healthy, tone specific muscle groups, and also focus on breathing and yoga techniques. You will also learn about Nepal lifestyle through this cultural immersion experience. In this 21 day fitness trek, you will learn a different sense of time and how less ticking of time is healthier for your new fit body.

Day 1 (Arrival in Kathmandu)

You will be met with a joyful “namaste” by Trekt Himalaya’s guide at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM). They will show the office and help you get checked into your hotel in the Kathmandu’s tourist district of Thamel. There are plenty of restaurants and shops for you to explore for the afternoon / evening.

Day 2 (Kathmandu - Pokhara)

Trekkers will meet at the office at 07:00 for trek departure. You will travel by bus / mini-van to Pokhara. You will have a chance to enjoy the splendors of Nepal’s most beautiful resort town, Pokhara. You can enjoy an evening at the restaurants and outdoor cafés of Lakeside (Phewa Tal).

Day 3 (Pokhara - Bhulbhule)

After your morning workout (arms and abs) and light yoga, you will head to Besisahar where you will start your first of 14 days of trekking. This is a warm up trek. You will trek just 3-4 hours to Bhulbhule. Overnight and healthy meals are in the teahouse. Workout muscle groups are triceps, abs, gluts, and quads. From this day on, every morning includes abs and arms workout, as well as yoga before hiking.

Day 4 (Bhulbhule - Jagat)

Today, you will hike down into the valley near Syange and cross one of Nepal’s famous suspension over the aquamarine colored mighty Marsyangdi River. You will end at the unique stone village of Jagat. Workout muscle groups are triceps, abs, gluts, and quads.

Day 5 (Jagat - Tal)

This day begins with a trek along a rocky trail that follows the mighty Marsyangdi River. Then, you will trek into the district of Manang before end your 5-6 trekking day in Tal.

Day 6 (Tal - Dharapani)

Your journey today will take you to a village founded by ancient. Today, you will do both up and down hiking for 5-6 hours before you find the stone Chorten that marks the entrance to Dharapani.

Day 7 (Darapani - Chame)

This is one of the longest trekking days, 7 hours, as you start your 4 days to the high region toward Muktinath. But, there is hot springs at Chame for your reward!

Day 8 (Chame - Pisang)

Up Until Bhartang the walk is pleasant but after Bhartang, the valley is steep and narrow and the trail goes through the deep forest. You may view Annapurna II, Pisang Peak, Himal Chuli, and Ngadi Chuli. The trek is reasonably level as it heads into the upper part of the Manang Valley, eventually reaching the entrance to Pisang. Overnight is at Pisang.

Day 9 (Pisang - Manang)

After crossing a swathe of flat landscapes, you will trek to the upper portion of the Manang district that has about 5000 inhabitants in six major villages. Then, across a stream and overnight is at Manang.

Day 10 (Acclimatization day in Manang)

You will explore Manang while you acclimatize to the increased altitude.

Day 11 (Manang - Yak Kharka)

From Manang village, you can take the trekking trail to relaxing town of Yak Kharka in preparation to ascend the Throng La High Pass in the very early morning.

Day 12 (Yak Kharka - Thorong Phedi)

You will depart from the old yak trading outpost of Yak Karka before you start your way up to Thorong Pedi. By now, you will be seeing and feeling the results of your fitness trek.

Day 13 (Thorong Phedi - Thorong La Pass - Muktinath)

This morning, you will wake up very early in order to make the arduous journey of passing the Thorung La High Pass. This is important in order to avoid the strong winds that can occur. The trail becomes steep immediately after leaving the Thorong Phedi, but as you cross, you will experience magnificent views of the Himalayas. In about 4 hours, you will cross the High Pass and make a final descent to Muktinath. It is a pleasant walk along the upper part of Jhong Khola. You will stay at Muktinath for the night.

Day 14 (Muktinath - Marpha)

Muktinath is the home of the Muktinath temple and several other monasteries and is a sacred site to both Hindus and Buddhists. After visiting this temples and monasteries, you will descend down to Kagbeni that looks like a town straight out of an unknown medieval past with closely packed mud houses, dark tunnels, and alleyways then further descend down to Marpha and overnight.

Day 15 (Marpha - Ghasa)

Marpha is the home of many apple orchids with apple brandy and apple pie being a famous local specialty. If you wish, you may indulge in both of them. You will then descend down and overnight at Ghasa.

Day 16 (Ghasa - Tatopani)

You will further descend down to the valley of Kali Kandaki. A dramatic change occurs in the vegetation and landscapes. You will stop at Tatopani, which translates as ‘hot water’, and you may enjoy a relaxing, rejuvenating soak in them in a preparation of staying overnight there.

Day 17 (Tatopani - Ghorepani)

Leaving behind Tatopani, you will ascend again climbing to the Ghorepani and staying overnight there.

Day 18 (Ghorepani - Tadopani)

Early in the morning, you will hike to Poon Hill for the best sunrise view over the high Himalayas. One may witness the sunrise of a lifetime with over more than 30 snow peaks in easy view. Then, you will walk down to Ghorepani for breakfast and then walk towards Tadapani and overnight there.

Day 19 (Tadopani - Ghandruk)

You will finally descend down to a charming and prosperous village and stay overnight there.

Day 20 (Ghandruk - Naya Pool - Pokhara)

You will descend down to Naya Pool and drive to Pokhara to end your trekking. In the evening, you will have celebration of the “new you". You will stay overnight at the hotel in Pokhara.

Day 21

You will be back to Kathmandu and have farewell to your guides, yogis, and new friends.


This fitness and yoga trek will take you from Kathmandu to trek along the Annapurna Circuit route in Nepal. You will start and end your trek in Pokhara.


Trekt Himalaya will serve you healthy meals during your trekking activities. Vegetarian option is available. Please advise at the time of booking if required.
