In Kathmandu and Pokhara, you will stay at well-run, clean hotels with en-suite bathrooms, in-room TVs, 24-hour hot water and power, as well as laundry facilities. Your rooms will be on a twin-share basis. Along the remaining stops on the route, you will stay in tea houses, which are small family run homes that have been converted for tourists on a twin share basis, with separate shared toilets and eating areas. Please note that outside the large hotel stays mentioned above, this is a trek, so you will be in lesser developed areas with local standard bathroom facilities. Additionally, you will also spend one night at a camp on Trishuli riverbank.

This retreat will be an awesome journey for those of you who want to enjoy a unique trekking experience that very few people have done in Nepal. These 9 days of adventure in the mountains is the perfect way to experience the beautiful nature and unique culture in Nepal. There will be 2 yoga sessions a day depending on the weather and length of time for hikes. You will also enjoy some discussion sessions and workshops.

A full kit list will be provided separately for you. This is a highly recommended list of important items that will make your journey comfortable and safe. You will also be accompanied by a full complement of porters and guides who will ensure your safety and help you with your excess luggage. Rafting days will see you carrying nothing on your person, with food and drinks provided by your guides. Your gear will be given at the end of each day, ensuring that it stays safe and dry during the day.

Day 1

You will arrive in Kathmandu and start your adventure here.

Day 2

You will go to Trisuli River and enjoy canyoning after which you will spend the night camping on the riverbank.

Day 3

You will continue your adventure to Pokhara.

Day 4

On this day, you will be taken to Beni and go trekking to Benskharka.

Day 5

Your agenda for today is to go to Nangi.

Day 6

This day will take you to go trekking to Mohare Danda (3,300 meters) with unreal views of the Annapurna range almost within touching distance. Mohare Danda is the high point of your trek, both literally and with regards to the sights you will see. There, you will witness a panorama of the world's most magnificent mountains, with the stunning fishtail right in the center of the view. You'll see the mountains slowly being bathed in the morning sun. After your trek, there will be plenty of time to relax in Pokhara and explore the stunning medieval capital of Kathmandu. Your guides will be with you for the duration of the trip.

Day 7

You will have the opportunity to watch sunrise at Mohare.

Day 8

You will go on a group treking to Tikot and Baisari. After that, you will take a bus to Pokhara.

Day 9

This will be the end of your journey. You will fly to Kathmandu and and go on to your home. Weather permits, you will be able to enjoy some sightseeing along the way.

    Lisbeth is a co-founder of and lead Karma coordinator at The Power Trippers. She believes that through yoga, everyone can use physical moment as an access point to seeing your greater possibility. With a 10 year career in the fast paced oil and gas industry, Lisbeth understands the need to get away and disconnect from a demanding workplace. After training with Baron Baptiste and the Baptiste Institute, she started The Power Trippers to build adventures that inspire leaders and build a community of trippers who inspire each other to power trip through life reaching for what is possible.

    Anna Packham is a co-founder of and lead Om officer at The Power Trippers. She wants you to find your physical and mental best through yoga and travel, regardless of your level of fitness. In 2003, Anna discovered yoga as a fundamental physical, mental, and emotional escape from her hectic life as an international special education teacher. Anna strongly believes that yoga is for everyone so they can discover their strengths and inner peace in this chaotic world.

This retreat will take you from Kathmandu to Trisuli River, Pokhara, Benskharka, Nangi, Mohare Danda, Tikot, and Baisari. The trek is much quieter than the busy nearby Poon Hill trail, with views that are equally as stunning. You will benefit from a much quieter and more intimate experience of Nepal trekking.

Pokhara is Nepal’s second city, but is a far cry from the hustle and pollution of Kathmandu. It is located roughly in the center of Nepal and is surrounded by the Annapurna Himalayan range that has three of the world's ten highest mountains. Those are Annapurna 1, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu. It is also home to the stunning Machapuchare (fishtail) mountain.

Your food at the tea houses and river camp will be international in nature, consisting of pasta, potatoes, meat, and vegetables. Breakfasts will include eggs in different ways, cereals, as well as tea and coffee. The food and drinks will be clean and well-prepared, giving you all the energy you’ll need for your trip.

Please book your flight to Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM). International flights from most major hubs arrive into and out of the airport daily. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be picked up by The Power Trippers and this pickup is included in the price.
