During this training, you will stay at Vida Mountain. Tao Yoga carefully selects its venue for retreats and training aligned with the life experience that speaks of the nature and beauty of Costa Rica, delicious vegetarian and organic meals, and inspiring and lush environment, while maintaining security and modern comfort.
Vida Mountain’s facilities include modern and newly constructed houses overlooking the mountain peaks where you can watch toucans flying through the trees below. Evenings end with the sunsets that shine line gems in the sky with two large hot tubs for you to enjoy along with three heated saltwater pools, a spa where a variety of massage sessions are offered, and many trails where you can experience the forest and its magic.
There is also a medicinal organic garden where the naturalists are happy to guide you on the indigenous medicinal plants. Stella Kwon is an integral part of the Tao Yoga Collective. She began practicing yoga to relieve back pain after a car accident in 2010. Since then, she discovered many other benefits along with the healing powers of yoga. She believes yoga can help everyone find their path to well-being, growth, and fulfillment by practicing as you are in the present moment and finding connection between mind, body, and soul. She teaches an energizing free flow Vinyasa practice focusing on breath and body awareness so that each student can create their own unique experience.
This training will take place in the Central Highlands of Costa Rica. Vida Mountain is an hour and a half from the Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO). It is atop the mountains in Alajuela. There is a tranquil and mystical quality to the resort filled with trails for you to hike and explore on your own or with a guide to experience the forest and its magic. There is a waterfall 10 minutes away, a river with five minutes' drive, and three heated saltwater pools for you to enjoy.
During this training, you will be served three daily organic vegetarian meals.
