Sie werden alle Yoga Stile, wie traditionelles Hatha, Hatha Flow, Restorative Yoga und Ashtanga Vinyasa, Meditation, Pranayama und Mantras erlernen.

Sleeping soundly and eating properly are key requirements to ensuring you have the required energy and peace of mind to absorb all the knowledge, wisdom, and beautiful experiences of yoga teacher training. We are pleased to announce we have recently moved into our own building and can now offer our students a truly peaceful, sattvic ashram environment.

All of our rooms are spacious, have a private bathroom with hot water, wi-fi, offer an abundance of natural light, and are exceptionally clean and comfortable. This is a place where you will rest well and wake with a fresh mind ready to absorb the beauty of each day.

Students will have many opportunities to practice teaching so they feel completely at ease and confident in front of a class. At Suddha Anand we have a very supportive, nurturing faculty who are here to help you develop and refine your teaching skills.


Students will learn to guide others through a variety of meditation techniques.

Meditation teaches us to stop identifying with the external world, the body, the mind, and ceaseless thoughts. When this quieting of the mind occurs, only then have you embarked on the path of yoga, which is identification with the true authentic Self which leads to Samadhi; pure bliss.


  • Prana is the life force or vital energy. And pranayama is a way of building and directing this vital energy.
  • Learn to teach powerful breath (pranayama) techniques such as ujayi, kapalabhati, bastrika, nadisodhana, kumbhaka, Sheetali, Sheetkari, and Bramari.
  • Learn how to apply bandhas and understand the effect bandhas have in directing prana (vital life force)


Anatomy and physiology will be studied in great detail. Students will study the nervous system, circulatory system, respiratory system, lymphatic system, endocrine system, digestive system, musculo-skeletal system, immune system, the genito-urinary system, and the spine.

Truly learn and understand the physical effects yoga has on the body

Learn how to avoid injury in more prone areas and how to work with common injuries

Yogic history and philosophy

Key influential texts will be studied and students will learn how to apply this ancient wisdom for the betterment of their daily lives. Some of the texts that will be explored include The Vedas, Patanjalis Yoga Sutras, Hatha Yoga Pradipaka, and The Upanishads.

Ayurveda is an ancient Indian system of natural medicine and healing that enhances the well-being of the body, mind, and spirit.

Daily schedule

  • 06:30-07:30: Detoxification & pranayama
  • 07:30-07:50: Tea break
  • 08:00-09:30: Traditional Hatha
  • 09:30-10:15: Breakfast
  • 10:30-12:00: Lecture
  • 12:15-13:30: Lunch break
  • 13:30-15:30: Self-study/free time/rest
  • 15:30-16:30: Lecture
  • 16:20-18:00: Ashtanga Vinyasa
  • 18:00-19:00: Meditation & mantra
  • 19:00-20:00: Dinner
  • 20:00-21:00: Self-study & question and answer
  • Please note there are no classes on Sundays so students have their own personal time to enjoy or relax.

Retreat Ort

Our newly constructed ashram is located at the north end of the yoga village, in Ram Jhula, Rishikesh. We overlook the Rishikesh valley, the glorious mountains, the expansive jungle landscape, and we neighbor onto farmland. Our building is nestled in a very quiet pocket, tucked away from the markets and any noise disturbance. This safe environment is a place where all students minds will be completely at peace thus guaranteeing an enriching experience. The only sounds you will hear are that of nature. This location is a truly inspirational place to re-connect with nature, oneself, and it is an exceptional place for one to go inward and deepen their practice.

Our brand new, fully equipped, state of the art, yogshala floats high in the sky and offers spectacular jungle and mountain views, lots of natural light, and extraordinary energy. When the windows are open, the fresh breeze rolls through the shala and the soothing sound of birds and bell chimes can be heard in the distance. We feel incredibly blessed to have found such a beautiful space for our shala.

We have taken our time, over one year, searching out the most ideal environment for our ashram. We listened to all the requests and feedback of our students and finally found the perfect place to call home. We are honored to be able to offer our students such a beautiful peaceful environment.

Students who stay with us will enjoy 3 delicious, freshly prepared vegetarian meals per day. Each meal will consist of 5 different dishes/meal options which are rotated on a daily basis. You will have many beverage options to choose from including fresh juices, lemon water, a variety of teas, and coffees. On Sundays, your day off, you will enjoy breakfast and dinner with us and will be able to venture out and try something different at lunch. Please let us know if you have any allergies or food intolerances and we will happily speak with the chef to ensure have appropriate options available to you.

Arrival by train

Rishikesh railway station; a quiet branch line connects Rishikesh to Haridwar, but there are only about three slow trains daily. It's best to take the train to Haridwar as Haridwar is serviced by many trains from to Delhi, Varanasi, Rajasthan, Amritsar, etc. and continue by bus (45 min), by taxi (30 mins or by shared auto-rickshaw (40 min).

Arrival by bus

From Delhi, Rishikesh is about 230 km away and is well connected with buses. A bus journey may take about 5-7 hours - depending on the traffic. There are 3 classes of buses that can be booked. We recommend you choose the luxury Volvo bus when coming by bus as it is most comfortable for foreigners.

Arrival by taxi

Taxis are widely available anywhere in India. The drive from/to Delhi lasts around 5 to 6 hours, depending on traffic conditions. Cost of transportation by taxi is estimated to be around 70 USD.
