Alex is a long-time practitioner of yoga with specialized mindful resilience yoga training. With a background in gymnastics and dance, Alex has always loved playing with strength building movements, creative flows and exploring the full potential of the anatomical body. As her practice grew, she began to appreciate the healing effects of slower flowing classes coupled with pranayama techniques, working to stretch and strengthen the musculoskeletal system while relaxing the nervous system. Alex dedicates herself to creating a safe space for people to find both comfort and confidence.
Sarah was first exposed to yoga in the spring of 2011 at a Bikram class, but it wasn’t until several months later when she found Hatha yoga that she truly fell in love with the practice and its teachings. In the fall of 2013, Sarah traveled to Nepal for three months and started a truly committed daily practice and studied at an Ashtanga center. Upon returning home to Vermont, her practice continued to grow and she entered a teacher training program at Lexington Power Yoga in Massachusetts. Sarah is excited to inspire her own students by passing down the traditions of this beautiful practice.

Santa Catalina is a charming and tranquil village, filled with raw natural beauty, about a five-hour drive south west of Panama City on the Pacific Coast. Wonderful islands surround Santa Catalina, it's worth exploring. Plus, it's a great work out! The tranquil location makes it the perfect place to disconnect and take some time out. At high tide, you can also take the kayaks and stand up paddle boards out for a paddle.
This village is a hidden gem of Central America, a natural paradise still relatively untouched since being discovered by adventurous surfers in the 70s. Embrace the friendly community of locals and immerse yourself in the simple lifestyle and laid back pace that Santa Catalina offers. Still fairly secluded, the closest town with ATM, pharmacy, and large grocery is in Soná, about an hour away. So best to stock up on any essentials on the drive into town.

You will be greeted by a welcome cocktail, dinner, and drinks on arrival. Delicious healthy breakfasts, lunches, and dinners will be served for each of your five activity days, plus breakfast on your departure morning. You'll be dining at the waterfront restaurant, as well as the best local restaurants in the village providing a deliciously unique and immersive experience.
