This retreat has its guests' accommodation will be arranged at the ashram-like setting of Quaternityoga. You can relax, but above all take a creative break. You could also paint something or write in the serene and peaceful set-up.

The accommodation provides you the space you need for your creative recreation, knowledge, study, or to relax and breathe. The house is available to all participants, in double rooms with private bathrooms. Shared meals and conversations can be your inspiration, and your own leaven.

Ashrams usually represent a return to a simpler way of living, which is very different to a hotel. Generally there is a more communal atmosphere and often an expectation that guests will pitch in with whatever needs doing.



The teacher training courses are very intense, with practice, study, and reflection throughout the day.

There is a few days of practice meditation techniques in silence, called mouna, to give total attention to your internal, meditative awareness, and to discover your own internal voice. Quaternity teacher training is designed to deepen yogic practice, and give you strong foundation as an evolving yoga teacher.

The purpose is that you will understand the essence of yoga in all of its individual aspects; while practicing asana, pranayama or meditative practices, you will naturally come to a meditative state and experience it. Development of this meditative attitude is the real thing, an integrated understanding of yoga.

The goal is that you will leave transformed, inspired, fully prepared as a yoga instructor with a 200 RYS Yoga Alliance approved certificate.

  • 15:30 - 16:00 Nidra yoga

The schedule includes two days off.

Over 20 days of the course you will learn basic, intermediate, meditative, and relaxing asanas, Pawanmuktasana series 1, 2, and 3, Vinyasa flow, Kundalini yoga kriyas, vitalizing, cooling, and balancing Pranayamas, and Pranayama series, meditations on the pratyahara level.

Karma yoga

Karma yoga is something we practice every single day on the Quaternity Yoga Training. Awareness in action is the foundation for all yoga teachers. Every day we spend one hour cleaning common space, gardening, food preparing, working together to uplift the energy of the place in an awareness that every action has its reaction, may it be positive or negative, practicing balanced approach to life.

Personal practice and Sadhana journal

Sadhana means tuning to one's own inner nature, this is why balance means something different for every individual.

During yoga teacher training you will be asked to keep a personal Journal of your practice. It will give you deeper insights into the patterns of your behavior and the workings of your mind.

The last week of the course, you will work on your own personal Sadhana, your own intimate practice that you will develop and then continue after the yoga teacher training.

The personal Sadhana is your own support system, your personal discipline, that gives you strength to live your life not so much full of success, but full of meaning.
