You will be provided single or twin-share accommodations for 27 nights. The center has been purpose built for yoga. It has a pavilion that is spacious, bright, and wonderful. It also has a very comfortable lounge area for students to relax or study their course material. The shala has a dedicated broadband and Wi-Fi for students to keep connected with their loved ones during their free time.

Prabhathika Yoga Sutra is an internationally recognized yoga institution that provides Yoga Alliance registered 200-hour yoga teacher's training in India. The program runs over four weeks and is structured to trigger the passion of a yoga student to practice and teach others. It is a pleasant means to enhance your foundational base knowledge about yoga, awaken the teacher inherent in you, and acquire a teaching certification that is internationally recognized.

This course serves as a stepping stone to enter the vast profound knowledge and philosophy of yoga. This intensive four-week training is filled with fun, enthusiasm, and novelty with a modern approach. It is purely designed to boost the physical and break the mental limitation of a student. The classes relatively vary from those that include advance physical postures to less intensive and more restorative sessions.

This course exposes the student to all the basic styles of Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa Flow yoga based on which a student can identify the most suitable yoga style to teach and practice in future. The style of asana that resonates the most with a particular student will help them decide to take upon advanced courses related to the style in future.

The course begins with introductory classes of the Hatha and Ashtanga primary series and a variety of multi-styled and themed Vinyasa Flow as the weeks progress.

Technical workshops particularly emphasize on the more demanding and advanced postures. These workshops are held and practiced in terms of assessing the visual progress that is done in your everyday Asana practice session. This serves as a reminder about the fact that yogic asanas are fun and interactive with an opportunity to explore the limitations and intelligence of our physical body.

Postures are attained and excelled through intense self-discipline and concentration during the practice. The vital sheath and the mysticism of your breathe is explored through the practice and understanding of pranayama.

Classical yoga philosophy is intertwined all throughout the course. Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, as well as the thousand years old methodology of yoga, will be the most important part of the course. This provides a clear understanding and approach of yoga and its benefits in your everyday life.

Students will be encouraged to teach peers during the second week of the course. This will start by teaching each other on group basis initially. You will then proceed to device and deliver your own lesson plans individually. You will be provided tools and key instructions necessary to improve teaching skills every week. This would eventually facilitate students to prepare their yoga class and their final practical.

Students feel the last week as the most memorable part of the course as they showcase all their capability and everything that they have learned throughout the course during this week. Participating and providing valuable feedback in the classes conducted by the peers and teachers makes a student fully confident and ready to teach after the certification.

Prabhathika Yoga Sutra brings together all the yoga practitioners from all over the world to continue their journey as a seeker. This course is based on the four paths of yoga that will touch and rediscover the most subtle being of a student. These four weeks will showcase the entire dimension and the vast expansion of yoga understood and practiced in the East.

On the successful completion of the course, students will be awarded a certificate affiliated to Yoga Alliance USA, which is recognized all over the world. This certificate allows every student to consider themselves as a “registered yoga teacher” (RYT).

The yoga teacher training program starts early in the morning to inspire students with the view of beautiful sunrise. Saturday is a half day, followed by Sunday an off day, where Prabhathika Yoga Sutra will plan different hikes, treks, and cultural tours for interested students. Students can plan their own day off too.

To help students make the most of their stay, the daily schedule for all the training is rigorous yet allows ample break times throughout the day. Take advantage of these restorative break periods to engage in activities that will enrich your yoga experience, such as enjoying meals, relaxing at the garden and reading, socializing with your classmates, meditating, or even just practicing your favorite asanas.

Reshma is the founder and director of Prabhathika Yoga Sutra. Her aim is to make yoga teacher training reachable to everyone in order to help students from various backgrounds and cultures from all around the world to experience the mystical powers of nature and the inspiration it has bestowed upon yogis for centuries. She is a certified RYT 200 and RYT 500 yoga instructor who likes to connect the Eastern philosophies of yoga to the contemporary West. She was born in a devout spiritual Hindu family and from an early age understood the concepts of mantra chanting and yoga philosophy.
Bindu Rani
Bindu is an international yoga teacher, Ayurvedic consultant, and Reiki master. She has been studying yoga and Ayurveda for over 10 years. She teaches with enthusiasm and attention to detail. She brings knowledge gained from her own personal practice and provides strong encouragement and support in her classes. An avid traveler, Bindu connects herself with others through yoga and Ayurveda while following her passion for creating events and her destined path of yoga. She completed her Ayurveda Panchakarma diploma course with Dr.Vinod at the Multispecialty Ayurveda Bhavan Hospital in India.

This teacher training will take place at Sreekariyam, Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala, which is also known as God's Own Country. Kerala is situated on the southwestern coast of India. During this teacher training, you will be served three daily Satvik pure vegetarian meals. Prabhathika Yoga Sutra promotes a healthy diet, and their food is freshly prepared daily. They consider proper nutrition to be a very important part of your time with them, and they want to ensure that you are giving your body what it needs to support your daily yoga practice, health, and well-being.

They have an on-site organic Indian kitchen with a wonderful cook, who continues to delight guests with their specialties. You can enjoy mealtimes with your peers or maybe dine on your terrace should you want a little quiet time. Herbal teas and drinking water are available all day. You can request for special fresh vegetable and fruit juices for an extra charge.
