Imagine taking a week for yourself to reconnect, renew, feel empowered, and free. Join Nina Vukas Yoga and you can do just that. Fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves, enjoy breakfast in the shade of palm trees, practice transformative yoga on a beautiful terrace, chill on the beach, go for a swim, surf, or explore Sri Lanka's natural, cultural, and historical treasures. This is a small, boutique experience retreat. Spots are limited to eight students.

Unterkunft

You will be staying in a beachfront villa with on a small, quiet part of Dalawella Beach, close to Unawatuna Beach. The villa is very airy with much space to enjoy some 'me time' as well as socialize with other like-minded souls. The rooms are very large with king double beds and one with a twin bed. Two rooms share one bathroom. No single rooms are available on this property.

Programm

Dream experts say that if you dream of an ocean, it represents empowerment and freedom as well as spiritual awakening and renewal. This will be your intention for this week - to connect, free your mind and heart, empower, awaken, and renew.

Daily yoga practice

Mornings are reserved for a more dynamic practice to prepare you for a day ahead. These fluid Vinyasa classes with meditation, pranayama, mindfully sequenced asanas, mudras, and philosophy are designed to heal and integrate your body, mind, and soul. The group will also have two sunset pranayama and meditation classes during the week.

Classes are open for all levels as modifications and variations are always given. You will practice on a beautiful terrace surrounded by palm trees overlooking the ocean.

Nina Vukas
Nina Vukas is an international Vinyasa yoga teacher, blogger, teacher trainer, and a retreat leader with over a decade of teaching experience. Nina teaches integral Vinyasa yoga, a method based on the ancient yoga philosophy, traditional Tantric, and Hatha yoga teachings as well as the modern knowledge of anatomy and movement biomechanics. She follows the traditional understanding of Vinyasa Krama, a system of progressions chosen to serve the gentle unfolding and integration of the body or mind.

Sri Lanka is famous for its world class surf breaks, so surfing is a great option for beginners as well as intermediate and advanced surfers. Nina Vukas Yoga will help you organize your daily surf lessons or board rentals if you already surf. Massage can be arranged upon request.

You can also take a half day or full day trips to historical Galle, explore Sri Lanka's southwest coast beaches, visit tea plantations, national parks, join a cooking lesson, etc. Just let the organizer know what you'd like and they will help you organize your free time.
