Kathalin Walker, for a deep dive into your soul and the wild heart of America’s Grand Southwest! They invite you on a 5-day journey to dive within yourself to find and connect with the wild hearts that have always existed within. Reconnecting with yourself and your partner to revitalize your relationship with each other, nature, and the sacred will bring a rejuvenating spirit into your life.
Each Lake Powell Resort room will have two double beds. All rooms are private and people traveling together can share the room. This is an eco-friendly hotel.
They offer love, support, validation, and deep connection through group sharing, meditations, myofascial stretching, and individualized sessions with their facilitators. They offer guidance and healing through sound, yoga, connecting with nature, hiking, and exploring. Connect with other women who are walking the same path as you are.
Reconnecting with your heart and self-esteem, as well as release stress and traumas that have been stored within the body. There are individualized sessions with their expert Myofascial Release therapist, Bernadette Pierson, OTR, Reiki Master, or ordained priest and sound healer, the Rev. Kathalin Waller, MA.
Their small wellness retreat, up to 3 couples, offers time and space for learning and healing. Bernadette and Kathalin, Debra, Mark, and Jennie are holding sacred space, welcoming you to their family of like-minded souls on a journey to be your best selves.
Truly digital detox, airplane mode required, internet in the middle of nowhere is spotty at best. Disconnect from your world and reconnect with mother nature’s finest in theirs. Their wellness retreat also focuses on diet and nutrition offering fresh, healthy, organic meals, easy to adjust for any special dietary requests.
Now more than ever as you journey through these turbulent times, you need to fill your soul with love and light, and there is no place better than in your scared earthscape. Connecting back to the quiet spaces of mother earth and disconnecting from the chaos that surrounds your urban centers, allows you to draw from the strength and beauty of the natural world.
Based near beautiful Page, Arizona, on the shores of Lake Powell, this Monumental Meditation program includes exploration of mystical slot canyons, majestic viewpoints, and lush water oasis.
They are excited to offer this weekend retreat that focuses on health, well-being, and mindfulness. They will celebrate the beauty and power to heal within. Awe-inspiring nature awaits!
Activities and classes are tailored for each group based on intention and experience. Includes private workshop instructors for all classes and adventure tours with area partners and indicated meals. This weekend’s retreat begins Thursday evening and concludes Monday morning.
Through the isolation of the past years, more studies have shown the healing effects of just being in nature. You need time to reconnect to wide-open spaces. Northern Arizona and Southern Utah abound in places of solitude.
You will quietly and mindfully explore an area famous for slot canyons, and navigate the waters of Lake Powell. Mother Earth will provide the backdrop for relaxing breath and meditation, gentle mindful hikes, and quiet exploration. A reawakening of the mind-body-soul connection.
All of life is vibration. Disease, or discomfort, is a signal that the body’s vibrational patterns are out of sync. Crystal bowls, metal Himalayan bowls, drums, and other instruments are used to help bring the body’s vibrational patterns back into harmony and to increase your connection to sacred nature.
The ancient art of sound healing is supported by modern scientific research. The tone and vibration of instruments stimulate various parts of the brain, the physical body, and the etheric body. The mind-body-soul connection through sound healing is an integral part of your journey.
You begin with sunrise gratitude ceremonies each morning and sunset meditation, reminding you to celebrate each and every day. Your easy-to-moderate hikes focus on mindfulness as you gently explore the elements of your surroundings.
In the stillness, listening to the wind as it sweeps through the canyons, hearing birds adrift on the thermals, insects singing, falling pebbles, your breath. You bring flutes and drums as part of your sound healing program to enhance the mind-body-soul connection.
Fascial tissue permeates every cell in your body. As a connective tissue it is capable of exerting 2000 pounds of pressure when the web becomes constricted. As an Occupational Therapist for over 30 years and a myofascial practitioner for over 20 years, Bernadette will bless your journey with her expertise.
During the stretching sessions, or a private treatment, she will teach you techniques to relieve pain after you return home.
Join them for a journey through their unique dark sky heavens at night. Check out the moon and planets, explore the constellations, and experience the wonder of a full moon Milky Way. Truly otherworldly.
Please note that the itinerary is subject to change based on weather, health, and or safety considerations.
Having spent her early years on the family farm, Debra has been savoring the outdoor world all her life. After arriving in Arizona in 1982, her exploration began in earnest - hiking, rock climbing, canyoneering, and caving. Monumental Meditation is a passion project Debra visualized many years ago and now, the time has come for this dream to be realized. With the help of an amazing team of sacred souls, she is happy to introduce mindful retreats to connect or reconnect to practices that promote healthfulness, healing, and wellbeing.
Jennie has been living in rural Southern Utah since 1992 and practicing yoga for 29 years. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, and camping in the sacred landscape of the Southwest US. In 2013, she received her Reiki attunement and training in Sedona, AZ. She completed a 200-hour Hatha yoga instructor program in 2017. Jennie has taught yoga and meditation in mental health and substance abuse treatment programs. In 2020, she helped found a local outdoor education nonprofit. Jennie currently runs the nonprofit, teaches yoga and meditation, and works as a river guide on the Colorado River in Glen Canyon.
Mark, born and raised in Southern England, has had a deep connection to the natural world that surrounded him from a young age. The sacred Neolithic landscape of his native county of Wiltshire inspired him to begin a spiritual journey of self-discovery which continues through his mediation and mindfulness practices along with regularly attending retreats and workshops. His journey also led him to the healing art of Reiki, and after many years of study in the United Kingdom, he attained the level of master / teacher. Regular Reiki along with his meditation practice has increased his connection.
Kathalin felt called to explore the power of energy healing in the 1980s. She began with informal studies of Healing Touch and Healing Hands, then progressed to more formal training, completing a four-year course in Esoteric Healing in 1998. In 2002 she received her Reiki attunement in Indiana, shortly after completing a two-year internship in Spiritual Direction and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Theology. After moving to Page, AZ, Kathalin and Bernadette formalized their relationship with a blessing in the Episcopal Church in 2004. Ordained in 2017, Kathalin continues to push boundaries.
Bernadette Pierson, an Occupational Therapist, has trained under John Barnes in Myofascial Release for over 600 hours since 2002. Her background as an Occupational Therapist since 1990, has given her a foundation to help a significant number of people who have had medical complications resulting in myofascial pain and dysfunction. As a Franciscan Sister for nineteen years, she began Reiki training in 1998 and became a Reiki Master in 2001 and a Holy Fire/Karuna Reiki Master in 2019.
