During the retreat, you will stay in two different places in Sacred Valley and Amantani Island. At the accommodation in Sacred Valley, the hotel is comfortable, clean, and has a nice location. You can chose between single or double rooms. Please inform Meditation Retreat Peru in advance about your preference.
Pay y Luz Hotel is one of the possibilities of accommodation in Sacred Valley. Paz y Luz means Peace and Light, and is a beautiful guest and conference center where people gather for workshops, to experience sacred healing sessions, or simply to relax, while visiting the Pisac archeological site and famous markets.
Their two-acre property, next to the Urubamba River, is surrounded by beautiful mountains and corn fields. The buildings have a sky-lighted living room or reception area with fireplace and kitchenette. Paz y Luz’s brightly decorated rooms have stunning mountain views, comfortable beds, private bathrooms with skylight, and shower. Hot shower is available upon request.
During the silent retreat, you will stay in a big family home on Amantani Island. You will stay at the best accommodation on the island which is quite clean, simple, and beautiful. The bathroom is shared with other participants.

Today, you will visit and explore Cusco, the ancient capital of the Incas.
The Sacred Valley is your base during the first part of the trip, located only 45 minutes from the busy city of Cusco. You will visit the spiral terraces of Maray, the salt mines of Mares, and other impressive places.
Machu Pichu is one of the many highlights of the tour. You will visit the ancient ceremonial city Machu Pichu and spend the entire day exploring the ruins, surrounded by a magnificent landscape. In the evening, you will return to your resting place in the Sacred Valley.
You will spend the day in Pisac. After going for a walk in the ruins, you will spend the day exploring the traditional market and enjoying the atmosphere of the town, which is also home for hundreds of expats from countries around the world.
Today, you will be traveling from Cusco to Lake Titicaca where the silent meditation retreat is held. You will be traveling by bus, minivan, and boat to Amantani Island. It is a comfortable journey in an impressive landscape. On the island, you will stay with a local family in a beautiful guest house.

Amantani Island is located in the middle of Lake Titicaca. There are two mountains on the island, and each has an ancient 5,000-year-old temple on top. The temples are dedicated to Pachamama and Pachatata, the feminine and masculine principle of the universe. There are no traffic or even roads on the island which makes it a very quiet and peaceful place.
Cusco is the ancient capital of the Incas. Being a place with a long history, the city has a very special atmosphere. This historic city was built in the shape of a puma, the energetic center of the Incan empire with many ancient temples and ceremonial sites.
Lake Titicaca is the birthplace of the Incas, and is home to numerous ruins. It is a large, deep lake in the Andes on the border of Peru and Bolivia.
Machu Picchu is an Incan citadel set high in the Andes Mountains, which is famous for its ruins and magnificent landscape.
Pisac is a beautiful little town below an ancient Inca city with a famous temple of the sun at its center.
Sacred Valley is located only 45 minutes from the busy city of Cusco. Different from Cusco, Sacred Valley is a small town nestled below majestic mountains along the Urubamba River.
You will be served daily vegetarian breakfast. If you have any special needs or allergies, please inform Meditation Retreat Peru in advance and they will do their best to take care of it. It is recommended to eat vegetarian during the trip as this will support your meditation and perception of energy. During the silent meditation retreat, all meals are included.
Massage or other treatments can be booked at an additional cost.
Please book your flight to arrive at Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport (CUZ). Transfer from the airport is included. Meditation Retreat Peru will pick you up from the airport.
