Marari Arattukulam Haven Homestay is a beautiful, clean, hygienic, healthy, and eco-friendly farm homestay situated in the beautiful coastal fishermen village Chethy, which is just near Mararikulam, the world famous tourist destination in Kerala.

You are provided with good food, a pleasant and calm atmosphere, and a bundle of memorable moments. Double rooms with air-condition, attached toilet and private area are available. When you come with a family with kids, you can choose two double rooms with an open terrace.

There are two air conditioned double rooms in the upstair of the house. The homestay located in a calm, quiet, and peaceful village area. There is an organic vegetable garden in the surrounding of the house.

Allappuzha (Alleppey) is a landmark between the broad Arabian sea and a network of rivers flowing into it. In the early first decade of the 20th Century the then Viceroy of the Indian Empire, Lord Curzon made a visit in the State to Alleppey, now Alappuzha. Fascinated by the scenic beauty of the place, in joy and amazement, he said, here nature has spent up on the land her richest bounties. In his exhilaration, it is said, he exclaimed, Alleppey, the Venice of the East. Thus the sobriquet found its place in the world tourism map.

The presence of a port and a pier, crisscross roads and numerous bridges across them, a long and unbroken sea coast might have motivated him to make this comparison. Ferry boats on the scenic backwaters of Alappuzha, connect the district with Kochi, Kollam, Kottayam and Chengannur. The cruise through the winding canals and backwaters is truly an unforgettable experience.
