Verpflegung

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are prepared daily and include healthy vegetarian options. The food is made from vegetables grown in the area, organic when available and prepared with nourishing ingredients. Examples of Nepali style meals are traditional dal bhat, root-vegetables and lentils curry with rice and roti, as well as plenty of green vegetables and fruits grown by the villagers, toast with honey and butter for breakfast. They also give healthy salad, soup and some western healthy vegan foods.

A yogi's diet is built around eating to nourish the body and having a healthy relationship with food. Mandala Studio Yoga & Spa supplies a yoga diet that consists of food grown naturally and harmoniously with nature and seasonable fresh vegetables and fruits.

The yogic food is all vegetarian because it simplifies the development of sattva, which is the concept of ahimsa (non-violence). The food is prepared with love, peace, gratitude, and positive intention, in order to increase and sustain prana. If you have special dietary requirements it's a good idea to communicate it to the organizer when making your reservation.
