You will be staying in a big Chalet up the hill in Geradmer, France. Away from any crouds but you can still walk into the small town. The house is at the border of the town and therefore very quiet, spacious and in between the rich green French nature.
The house is almost completely made out of wood, and therefore it smells beautiful inside and has a warm and comfortable atmosphere. It is very spacios with two floors, a balcony and a big terasse on the ground floor. But let yourself be bewitched by the beautiful pictures.
This retreat program is created for all of you, who are in the middle of an intense study or work phase, and need a different environment to get deeper in your yoga study. Learn Surf & Yoga will create a concentrated and calm atmosphere during the retreat so you can dedicate yourself to your own personal tasks.
You will start your day with a yoga session followed by breakfast. Lunch is scheduled at 12:30, and you will have another yoga session in the evening. After yoga in the evening, you will have light dinner together with the group.
Every class starts with a silent, group meditation. After that, you will do some asanas to get the muscles warm and smooth. Into the Vinyasas (moving with your breath), you will move through different postures in which you strengthen your core, your balance, or stretch your muscles. At the end of every class, there is again a meditation. In total, the classes last between 60 minutes to 90 minutes.
Here, you will create a flow with your movements and breath. It is physically more demanding and perfect to bulid up muscle strength and increase your flexibility. Learn Surf & Yoga will show you some more advanced poses too, but as always, everyone only does what feels right to them.
Here, you do not warm your muscles but you will simply do light stretches with your own body weight and hold them for one to two minutes. This is good to learn to let go, get into deep relaxation, restore your muscles, and accept the status of self.
With this schedule, you have a lot of time on your hands to get things done. If you are stuck, you can always get out into nature, go for a hike or a run and you don't have to worry about being alone as someone will definitely join you.
Seit 2014 hat das Yoga Lara fest im Griff und scheint sie nicht mehr loszulassen. Je mehr Yoga sie macht, desto glücklicher macht es sie. Im Mai 2015 begann sie damit Yoga regelmäßig zu unterrichten. Sie ist eine Ärztin in Deutschland. Mit jeder Yogasitzung wird ihr Kopf klarer und ihr Körper beweglicher. Und genau dieses Gefühl von Glück und Freiheit möchte sie in ihre Kurse einbringen. Seit sie ihre Firma gegründet hat, arbeitet sie kontinuierlich an ihrem Projekt Learn Surf & Yoga und hofft, damit ein schönes und nachhaltiges Programm zu erschaffen.

Your diet during the retreat will consist of vegetarian meals. In order to get energized as well as to be happy and healthy, Learn Surf & Yoga believes that a well balanced, healthy, and tasty meal is important. With that belief, they try to use fresh, local, and seasonal products to make natural homemade meals without any processed foods or additives. They also have a good balance between healthy light meals and filling comfort food in this retreat.
On your free time, you can go hiking, running, skiing, or just relax in the garden.
