During this retreat, you will stay a private room at the Pondok Pisang Centre. The center has beautiful shabby chic style eco-bungalows that have mostly been constructed using recycled materials. The center has a large and spacious yoga shala right by the ocean for all types of group activities. Pondok Pisang also has its own restaurant for you to enjoy.

All bungalows have hot water showers and are surrounded by a large tropical garden. All rooms also have garden and ocean views. Six of the cottages have one room upstairs and one downstairs. One cottage has only one room. There are single and double beds available. The detached, two-story accommodation will be home to two people per cottage.

Included in your package are two day trips. The first one is a day trip to the breathtaking Ujung Water Palace and an afternoon trip to the beautiful Tirta Gangga Water Temple which includes a swim in the fresh spring-water pool. The second day is a visit to the local Balinese spiritual healer, a short trek through the jungle to his hillside home. The team can promise you that visiting this healer is truly unique and very few outsiders get to experience this in Indonesia.

Pondok Pisang (pisang means banana in Indonesian) is located in the beautiful Mendira Village in Karangasem, East Bali. A perfect Bali holiday retreat nestled among the coconut trees with a private beach, excellent for swimming and snorkeling.

Pondok Pisang has its own restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The ingredients for the food comes directly from the surrounding area, including fresh fruits and vegetables. For dessert, black rice pudding with coconut milk and banana is the house favorite. And for a snack, tasty fried bananas are a perfect match with your tea or coffee. How are you really? Yoga retreats takes care of both your body and your spirit during your holiday stay.

There is the perfect blend of activities and free time during this week so that as well as experiencing a retreat environment you also have the opportunity to feel like you have had a holiday: either spend time lounging by the pool or exploring the surrounding unspoiled area of Candidasa or in quiet contemplation on your veranda while the soft scent of frangipani flowers soothe the senses.
