    Nestled in the jungle on the Mexican Pacific, you will find a natural paradise! You will be offered double occupancy room at Tailwind Jungle Lodge which has a collection of six different, creatively designed units including bungalows, palapas, and casitas. These units are perched on the hillside to minimize environmental impact. The lodge is nestled amidst the palms and offers a variety of jungle and ocean views—a truly unique experience.

      Tammy is the creator of Hanuman Yoga Retreat. Originally from California, she has been an expatriate in various countries, as well as a world traveler for the past 14 years. Combined with her love of travel and teaching, Tammy’s own transformative path has inspired her to share her healing practice with others around the world. Tammy brings a light-hearted, calm, and self-inquiry approach to her teaching, and aims to make her classes as accessible as possible.

      Fernando Aguiar is a body psychotherapist, researcher, and student of life from Brazil. He values personal growth, spirituality, human connection, and sharing his gifts to help others. Fernando has a Masters in Clinical Psychology, is a certified Core Energetics and TRE (Trauma Release Exercises) provider, and an Inner Dance Energy Work facilitator. Fernando believes in freedom of being and has created online courses on Neurogenic Freedom. He travels worldwide to facilitate workshops and offer life coaching.     Stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. It is a wonderful experience that offers a bit of exercise and a fun way to frolic in the ocean.

    Hiking and explore the beach

    Ready to explore? Take a hike to the beach! This pristine beach is only accessible by foot or by water. Follow a meandering jungle trail approximately 15 to 20 minutes to access to the secluded beach which will take your breath away. The beach also offers a special kind of clay or mud that is great for the skin. Good walking footwear is recommended for this hike.

    Surfing

    This coastline offers a variety of surf breaks that are great for all levels of surfer, including beginners. Waves of all sizes can always be found. Surfing lessons with excellent instructors can easily be arranged. Hit the waves and then retreat to the jungle!

    Massage

    Massages in the jungle will help you ease right into your tropical vacation and melt away all the stress. The lodge has a variety of different types of massage available including relaxation, deep tissue, Thai massage, and more.

    Please ensure that your flight arrives by 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2017. This will allow enough time to reach the retreat center, check-in, and join for the group welcome at 6:00 p.m. The program will end at 11:00 a.m. on January 3, 2018. Please book your flight to arrive from 2:00 p.m. onwards. This includes the one hour transport time plus two hours to check-in at the airport.
