Come explore slow yet grounded, soft yet deep yoga, breathing and relaxation. Integrate mindfulness and simple creativity during your practice. Explore your bodies capacity to move, breath and function efficiently with ease and a sense of joy. Sometimes we approach yoga in the same way we approach the things in our life that give us stress: trying too hard, doing more, using our ambition. It’s difficult to unravel these patterns on our own.

Slowing things down is one of the most powerful ways to bring awareness. Awareness is the first step to impact changes in life. Moving into stillness is one of the most effective ways to become powerfully aware of the wide open sky of your mind, heart, body and world around you. When we are able to move closer to ourselves, gratitude, as a way of being, becomes a more lived experience. The practice will be simple and go deep. The mantra: less is more.

During this weekend you will stay in the retreat and wellness center 'De Schouw'. Wading in space and tranquility, this beautiful retreat center is situated on a spacious, sheltered estate. The cozy building is light, attractive and spacious. This center offers an attractive living and dining room, a quiet room and three workshop rooms. The accommodation has single, double, triple and quadruple rooms with bathroom or sink (and shared bathroom facilities) and a group room with luxury beds and bathroom (if you only book for a shared room you share a room with the same sex). In the wellness department you will find saunas, hot water bath, cold water tub, foot bath, scrub salt, tanning bed and various treatment rooms. The beautiful garden has an outdoor swimming pool, a lawn with sun loungers, a sunny terrace and various cozy corners to come to yourself. The natural environment invites to extensive beach, dune and / or forest walks.



Exploring the naturalness of our fluid bodies; paying attention to the core elements of grounded stable earthy body, combined with the freedom to move with suppleness and lightness. Practice accessible yoga and somatic movements that free up the body, and relax the mind.


Breathing deeply, learn more about how deep traditional yogic breathing is connected to your core, and how it can help you in your authentic practice of freedom supported by stability. Breathing connected to the bodies energetic locks (bhandas) are essential elements for creating this deep experience.

Rest and meditation

You will practice I-Rest Yoga Nidra which is a meditation practice based on the ancient tradition of Yoga Nidra and adapted to suit the conditions of modern life. iRest helps you to meet each moment of your life with unshakable peace and well being, no matter how challenging or difficult your situation.

This weekend is open to beginners as well as experienced yogis. Because we move slow, all levels can enjoy the practice. Slow does not mean super easy however, your muscles will work. There will be lots of time to enjoy the area, spa, walking, massage, friendships, or read your book.

The food is vegetarian, organic and mainly vegan. Fruit before the first lesson, a rich breakfast buffet, a hot lunch and a delicious dinner. Many diets can be taken into account. 'Conscious', honest, tasty and fitting for the retreat, the food is passionately provided by Joris van Joricious Delicious or Karin van Puur koken met Passie. Various flavors of tea and water are available (free of charge) and coffee is available at various times. You can also drink a glass of organic wine, a natural beer or organic fruit / vegetable juice at friendly prices.

There is also plenty of room for relaxation and rest outside the program. Time for yourself, but also for movement, deepening, processing, stillness, meeting and for nature. At this beautiful location you can enjoy (massage) treatments, wellness with saunas, hot tub, outdoor swimming pool and solarium. But you can also get a breath of fresh air on the beach, ride a bike, enjoy a book or chill in the living room or on the terrace.

Spa Behandlungen

The Fit Body Mind team provides treatments. The services offered depend on the composition of the team. There is always a relaxation massage available, but also regular rebalance or coaching. This ultimate physical relaxation is optional and costs extra. You can register on site.
